piratejpParticipantReading the MJ v. Kobe posts reminded me of a funny story that I thought if anyone would appreciate, it would be the people here.
Back in the 80’s, I lived in Salt Lake for a short time, and the Jazz sucked. You could buy nosebleeds at the old Salt Palace and move down into the front ten rows most games. My dad and I would go to the games and whenever Mark Eaton would come in the game, we’d start shouting “EAT-TAWN” really slow, in the deepest, loudest voices we could; like he was some monster come to terrorize the villagers or something.
Reflecting on it, it might not have been the nicest thing in the world to do to someone, but it was high entertainment for a 13-14 year old kid.
