thetruthParticipantDear mr iverson.
i think you are one of the best toughest competive players to ever touch the court. you have done alot in your career. rookie of the year, mvp 2001,2x all-star mvp, 3 time all nba first team, 3 time all nba second team. 10 time all-star, 4 time scoring champion and the list goes on and on with your awards and stuff.
and you was the heart and soul of the sixers , even though you had rocky relationships with coaches and managerment. i feel like your one of the most players in the nba who plays his ass off every night on the court even when your banged up. but anyway im writing this letter to let you know you aint gon never win a ring until you stop acting like your still a superstar and accept being a role player. just stop acting like you can still carry a team. and accept the fact your old and your past your prime. just stop and think and say you know what i did alot in my career individual. but hey maybe i can change people views about me and if i say no to memphis, and go to a team like the spurs , celtics, magic or some championship contender team and accept coming off the bench. and dont never complain. but mr iverson i know you wont do that. so thats why your going to memphis and your gonna want to be the man there too. and thats your problem. your not willingy to let go of the past. i see lots of former all-star players who are in their prime or past theirs and go to a team and accept change. you on the other hand is not the case. so thats why your never get your ring or the respect you deserved. i hope you like it in memphis. cause its gonna be a long season for you.0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/09/2009 - 12:05pm #211428

jeff416ParticipantWhy did you write that to him? He knows everything you just said and thats one reason why he went to Memphis to show he is a team player where he can go to a elite team next year. He could not go to Spurs, Celtics, or Magic because they didnt want him. I think Iverson knows what hes doing he took alot of time in his decision and has already said he would be willing to come off the bench at Memphis.

tli232You, sir are a Racist!
I’m sure Mr. Iverson can comprehend proper English; you didn’t have to write in a style to reflect ebonics

butidonthavemoneyAt the beginning of every sentence should be a capital letter. You may achieve this by holding down the “Shift” button, and then pressing down on the first letter of your sentence. Remember, you have to press the letter while you hold “Shift”, not after.

TheAlchemistProbably the wierdest post ive seen in a while. I don’t think Allen Iverson needs advice from some guy in an internet forum, especially with that kind of grammar
