I think the Knicks, Jazz, and Bobcats should get into a three way deal, with the main components, Carlos Boozer, Raymond Felton, and David Lee…Boozer goes to the Bobcats, Lee goes to the Jazz, and Felton goes to the Knicks…I don’t see a better scenario for all these players and for each team.

Felton led North Carolina to the championship in 2006…He’s a winner, a true playmaker, he’s a blur with the ball, who would definitely thrive in D ‘Antoni’s free lancing offense…Since Felton got into the league, he hasn’t been able to run and do what he wants, because the Bobcats run a half court offense, that has stinted his growth to a degree…Playing for D’ Antoni, I think he could have a breakout year and be on the cusp of a All-Star berth..ala the situation Devin Harris was in Dallas…Avery Jonhson was keeping him from playing his game, and not that he’s in Jersey, doing what he wants, he’s an All-Star..Same thing applies for Felton, him & the Bobcats aren’t a good fit

If this deal was to go down, imagine how improved the Bobcats would be with a frontcourt of Tyson Chandler, Carlos Boozer, and Gerald Wallace…Then if they went out and signed Allen Iverson, I really think they would be in contention for a championship…Just Imagine a starting lineup of Tyson Chandler, Carlos Boozer, Gerald Wallace, Allen Iverson, and DJ Augustin, with bench players like Vladimir Radmanovic, Raja Bell, Diop, Gerald Henderson, Derrick Brown, Nazi Mohammed, and etc..The Bobcats would be a team to reckon with, if they stayed healthy

Raymond Felton is not all that. He is decent. He averaged 14 and 6 last season in 37mpg. That’s not the greatest.

If I was the Knicks, I’m giving up a top 5 rebounder in the NBA for that? Come on now…

Not only that…Felton shoots a horrible percentage from the field. What the Knicks need from the PG spot more than anything is efficiency.

at who Felton has played with, his team is always changing…people can’t expect him to be as good as CP3 and D-Will because of their draft. Felton doesn’t have great teammates and has never played with an All-Star. Knicks should be happy to have a chance at him.

First off in order for this trade to happen the salaries have to match up…so your telling me the Knicks would be willing to pay at least Boozer’s salary for Raymond Felton. He is a nice player, can run an offense and is pretty good getting to the basket, but he is not worth Boozer’s salary.

Random question…Is there any chance that the Lakers do a sign and trade with Chicago with Hinrich and Odom? It seems like it gives both teams what they want. LA gets a good PG who’s better than fisher and Chicago gets a scoring threat in the post. Just pondering the thought….

Actually that could happen. I think the Bulls would rather have Odom than Hinrich. Lakers could certainly use Hinrich.

Knicksboy says that he averages 14 and 6, but Larry Brown runs a very slow-tempo offense which also focuses alot on defense, I think in the Knicks system he would average around 18 and 9

I like the idea of Utah having two rebounding machines in Lee and Millsap, but you have to wonder who would get the starting job, and if Lee does, then you have a pricey backup in Millsap. Or the Jazz might not even trade Booze because they can’t get the player they wanted in return. He could still be with the Jazz next year, proves how he really is, and then is traded midseason, for someone like Bosh or Amare, or he leaves in the offseason, and Jazz select Greg Monroe with the Knicks lottery pick in the 2010 draft as his replacement, or sign Bosh to a contract in 2010. Either way would prove good for the Jazz. But I’m not so sure about Lee, there just isn’t a place for him on the roster, unless you want to have a pricey backup in Millsap.
