valentineI was watching a NBA live 2010 promo when it hit me like a ton of bricks….
What if EA sports made this…..hear me out.
NBA Live. Put MJ on the cover (talk to him about using his likeness first) and promote the last Disc of NBA Live.
Going into 2010, why not make: The Final Disc. Then, you make “The EA sports lounge” where you can update it all the time? Make roster updates, rookie imports and many other things. The issue would be you have to pay but you can pay for what you want so you can personalize your own game!
what do you think? ( i will be updating this post when the idea gts more planned out)

QHaynes20you think so? I dunno. NBA Live just signed the guy who was the leader of NBA 2k games to help NBA live. If you dont have online, maybe have it so you can take it to a store where they can update it for a price?
Also, if not MJ you can put like Magic or even someone like Bird

HaleParticipantWouldn’t they lose a lot of money but not making games anymore and just allowing updates? Like I completely agree they should do that, but then they aren’t making any money.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantNever Will Happen…….first of all its not going to be that easy, What if coaches change, what if teams change cities? all this can happen . Another thing is EA will be losing enough money, they make millions of dollars off this game, if they stop now and try to pull off this idea they would have to sell it for atleast $500. yea that sounds alot , but still they won’t be making as much anymore.

QHaynes20you would probably increase the price of the disc and you would have to pay for updates….
you probably would not lose money because it decreases the money to ship to stores and stuff. Like if you create say 3 big improvement every year for 15 bucks…I think it’s a good deal IMO
