HitsterParticipantThe Spurs are quietly going along having another excellent season, a lot of people are expecting another GSW vs Cavs finals but never underestimate the Spurs.
Toronto have confirmed themselves as the 2nd best team out East and both Boston and Charlotte have continued their good form from last season. Charlotte in particular have shown great team ethic with no recognised superstars and hopefully they will get some All Star recognition this season.
Washington seem to have found their way again after a slow start and are on a good run.
Both Chicago and the Pacers made what we thought were good off season moves but both are below 0.500 and only on the play off fringes.
Derek Rose continues to play to a decent level and is getting through more games but the old MVP level form never seems to be quite able to return. Maybe we accept this is the level he will be at going forward.
Embiid and Greek Freak continue to develop and put up great numbers, Philly looked a lot better minus Okafor last night too.
Out West the Harden inspired Houston have been great fun to watch and the surprise theam.
There looks to be a big drop off behind Memphis and 8th seeding could be wide open. The Pelicans are actually on a nice run now and if they can keep everyone sound around The Brow might have a good 2017.
Portland have fallen back after a great season last year and are well over cap.
The T-Wolves have steadied things in recent weeks are are 5-5 from their last 10 games and can hopefully build on this in 2017 if Thibs can turn individual success into results.
The Lakers are still in rebuild and could lose a nice draft pick to Philly next summer.
Dallas looks as if the Dirk era is coming to an end and that they will need to rebuild, if this is going to be Dirk’s last season then I really hope he can get the just over 400 points he needs for 30,000 career points.

SubZeroParticipantI normally have always hated Houston (only beaten by the Clippers and Warriors) but for some reason I really enjoy this team and want to see them advance in the playoffs. Them vs. Golden State could be the highest scoring series ever

HitsterParticipantThanks for the feedback, Houston vs GSW would be a free scoring play off series if it happened. GSW would like that sort of game as it would give their offensive firepower lots of shots and would be more their sort of game than say against the Spurs who would look to have a more defensive lower scoring series.

Mr. HookShotParticipantNot sure whether I agree with the Bulls making good off-season moves. Everybody was questioning their make-up before the season, and although they’ve started the season quite ok (Wade has more in the tank than most thought) they are dwindling right now (Rondo provides nearly nothing).

HitsterParticipantI thought that Rondo after leading the league in assists last season and playing nearly a full season, added to D-Wade still being a class player would have really spread the floor and given Jimmy Butler a couple of good running mates.
Butler has been on fire this year and Wade has been providing good support but I agree that Rondo hasn’t really done much,
