Well guys I have a few questions that I’m hoping any of you can answer…

Should Dwyane Wade really opt out?

Is Kevin Love looking to get out of Minnesota or is looking to win a ring?

Why would the Heat be targeting Napier?

Could the Bobcats make a run at Carmelo?

Do the Lakers have any shot at contending for a title this season?

What will the Sixers do with Embiid? Do they keep Noel?

Will McDermott contribute to a team this year?

Does Phil Jackson REALLY want Melo back with the Knicks?

Where will Rondo be playing by the end of the year?

      My hot sports take:

Should Wade really opt out? NO.

Is Kevin Love looking to get out of Minnesota or is looking to win a ring? Both?

Why would the Heat be targeting Napier? Because Cole sucks.

Could the Bobcats make a run at Carmelo? Probably not.

Do the Lakers have any shot at contending for a title this season? Zero.

What will the Sixers do with Embiid? Do they keep Noel? They haven’t drafted anybody yet.

Will McDermott contribute to a team this year? Maybe if he gets drafted by the Hornets

Does Phil Jackson REALLY want Melo back with the Knicks? Probably, but I can’t think he wants to max him out.

Should Wade really opt out?  No probably not, but he probably will because he seems to enjoy winning.

Is Kevin Love looking to get out of Minnesota or is he looking to win a ring?  He is looking to get out of Minnesota, and then win a ring.

Why would Heat be targeting Napier?  Because he is a PG which is a much needed position for them, and he might be a realistic option for them.  I also think it is media driven by the whole one Lebron quote.

Could the Bobcats make a run at Carmelo?  Yes they could… would Carmelo seriously consider the Bobcats?  Most likely not.

Do the Lakers have any shot at contending for a title this season?  As much as it pains me to say it, no…. Lebron and Melo aren’t walking through that door…. so no.

What will the Sixers do with Embiid?  Do they Keep Noel?   I don’t see them taking Embiid.  They need players.

Will McDermott contribute to a team this year?  Yes, absolutely.  I don’t imagine him getting 0 minutes the whole season, so yes… he will contribute.

Does Phil Jackson REALLY want Melo back with the Knicks?  No, I don’t think so.

Where will Rondo be playing by the end of the year?  Boston.

One big reason the Heat are targeting Napier is because, supposedly, Lebron is a fan of his as well, and drafting him would help would be a step toward keeping Lebron in Miami.

D Wade might want to opt out IF he gets a FOUR YEAR DEAL.

After this next season, he might not be worth another 3 years.

He should take something like $50 million over 4 years.  That would still be $12.5 million on average.

IF D Wade doesn’t opt out, he gets $20 million next year, BUT what he be worth after that?  2 years at $15 million?

2015 D Wade might be a 6th man of the Year candidate (that can’t shoot).  What will that be worth?

Would D Wade have two more years left after 2015?  Would summer of 2015 D Wade be worth two years at $7.5 million a year, or even 3 years at $5 million a year?

A $35 million contract might be the cutoff.

If D Wade can restructure and get closer to $40 million or $45 million then he should do it.

If he gets $20 million this year, and even a two year deal worth $10 million a year after that, then he STILL might be better off with $45 or $50 million over 4 years.  Does D Wade have more than a couple years left anyway?

D Wade should opt out and get at least $40 million over 4 years.   $50 million over 4 years should be a no-brainer.  Summer 2015 D Wade isn’t going to be worth $30 million…

     – Depends. How much less do they want him to take? And obviously the major factor is, is LBJ returning? If he is, then I think it’d make sense for him to opt out in order to give the team more flexibility to add depth.

    – I think he’s had it with Minnesota. At this point, he just wants to experience the playoffs.

    – Maybe the Heat are over Mario Chalmers, especially after his disappearing act in the post season. Napier has been invited to the green room, so he may not be an option for the Heat anyway. I think the main reason the Heat are looking at Napier though is because of LeBron’s tweet.

    – It wouldn’t hurt to try, but I don’t think the Bobcats are an option for Melo. He wouldn’t pass up $46 million from the Knicks to play for the Bobcats.

    – No

    – Since the 76ers can’t get Wiggins or Parker, I wouldn’t be shocked to see them pick Embiid, depending on how they feel about his medical records. They’ve shown they’re not afraid to take a risk on a player who’s injured. I think they’ll keep Noel and see how he develops.

    – Yes, he’ll be a solid role player right away.

    – No. I don’t get the feeling that Phil Jackson believes Melo is worth the contract he’ll command from the Knicks.

    – Sacramento
