    – Aaron Gordon shot 0/12 today

    – M.Chriss picked up 5 fouls in only 10 mins

    – As much as Stauskis has been bagged on here over the past 12-18 months, he sits just outside the top 10 in 3pt % at 44.3%

    – Rookies Sabonis and Jamal Murray sit just behind Stauskis @ 43.8 and 43.3% respectfully.

    – Pacers knocked off the Clippers by 21pts despite Monta Ellis going 2/12 from the field

I knew Aaron Gordon was going to bust from the first time I saw him play at Arizona. When the Magic took him so early in the draft, I texted my mate who is an Orlando fan and said…

"This pick will set your franchise back 4 years".

He replied via email today saying….

"It could actually be closer to 6".

He’s not a bust, just playing out of position. He’s a 4 and is forced into playing the 3. He needs to go to a franchise that will play to his strengths rather than try and hit a square peg into a round hole. I feel sorry for him.

0 for 12 though? You’d think he could accidentally get one in… That’s brutal.

Guy was taken above Julius Randle who was clearly a better player and prospect at the 4. And their careers so far just confirm the gap there was between the 2 at the college and high school level.

Aaron is still very young but he has improved very little since he got drafted and his physical attributes are not enough to survive in this league.

Could you imagine Randle trying to play the 3? If we switched the 2 guys places Randle would be horrible. And Gordon would be playing his natural position.

Nope. Randle is not a 3. Yet he is a better ballhandler than Gordon.

I think trying Gordon at the 3 is just bad anyway. And he is not a starter in any decent team at the 4 either.

I thought the team would try Hezonja at one point but he just seems to be a bust as well (though it’s harder to tell with euro guys who have to adapt to the culture).

is playing well, does that mean Sacramento is now the clear favorite for "worst organization to play for." The Process is supposed to be over for the 76ers and Sact town’s owner is still coo coo so…

      Hmm…lets assess.

      Philly

Pros: Disgraced themselves into 2 franchise players

Cons: Team fakes injuries and has the worst rep in pro sports

      Sacramento:

Pro’s: Few fans so unlikely to get noticed in streets

Cons: Players start getting worse the moment they arrive

      Verdict:

Philly is now the 29th worst franchise.

They Kings really really need a good GM in there and for the Owner just to keep out of the fold and let the GM do his thing..

Just to compare for a second:

Kings luck into Demarcus(should have gone 4th to t-wolves at least) who they have failed to build around smartly and Rudy gay+ Collison aren’t the worst signings they have ever made.

Then things down hill drafting wise and free agent signing wise:

2013  Ben M at 7th pick(Had high potential just not right fit for this team at time) Should have drafted C.J mcollum(least reach at time) otherwise you could have taken a Dennis Schroder or Giannis

2014 Nik S at 8th pick: Elfrid payton was the smarter pick here and made more sense to the team at the time

2015:WCS at 6th pick: should have gone with any of the following at the time, Mudiay,Booker,Winslow or even Stanley Johnson…

2016: Marquis Chris 8th pick traded for: 13(greek centre hasn’t seen court),Malachi R,Skal L(the only smart pick of the whole lot as a lot of potential if developed right).

They have had 5 coaches in boogies tenure: Only malone(Who they fired too soon) and maybe Jaegar made any sense there

Free agents: They have gone for average players as that is all they can at the moment due to bad Rep due to coach carasole and Ownership…Doesn’t exactly scream stable.. Hopefully that changes soon for them.

      Vs

      Philly

Hinkie went full rebuild mode as he realized philly was always going to be middle of the pack otherwise(AKA the process). Kind of where the Kings are currently but actually made the playoffs due to east being weaker..

The bad thing Hinkie did is he kind of burnt the veteran bridge with agents a little hence why F.A weren’t so keen on there but drafting wise he did pretty solid:

2013 Draft: Nerlens Noel at 6th not a bad move at the time Noel had hype for a top 5 pick until the injury..Didn’t play due to injurys,MCW not a horrible pick with 10th pick but they could have take a risk on someone like a Giannis A or a Dennis Schoder there as they could have filled a need..

2014 NBA draft: Joel the process Embiid: The best pick under Hinkies watch just had to wait for him to be ready..Wouldn’t have changed this at all, well unless he had never played a game lol.

2015:Jahlil Okafor(still a solid bench player): Safest pick at the time as the guy was hyped as consensus No1 until the draft which town took that honor..Only two other options at 3 for 76ers that made sense Porzingas, was a riskier pick but if rumors of not getting an audience with him are true then that was never really an option. Which leaves the only other player that made any sense with 76ers at the time Booker however at the time he was a Major reach at 3rd pick.

2016: Ben Simmons: this was the biggest no brainer of a pick ever, though Ingram was in the convo for a second there..

The Sixers are now one last trip to the draft and a couple of solid free agents away from being able to be back in the mix. Hopefully Bryan C doesn’t ruin all of Hinkies tanking effort by getting the wrong F.A’s

The interesting call is this though: Will Coach brown get a couple of years to prove he can coach once the process is complete due to putting up with the biggest tank job in NBA history?

I always say the 76ers should make the bench core: Jahlil,Nik and maybe  one of Saric/Ersan lol.

I thought Stauskas was alright since day 1, just got drafted by the wrong team at the wrong time(Kings management issues going on)..Give him regular minutes he seems to do alright, that is what Brown has done and fortunately for him Nik is starting to repay the favor.

Aaron gordon: Should have been taken alot lower in that draft either:7th by lakers or 9th by Hornets as he made more sense with those teams. Or as stated above magic need to use him properly as the kid has some potential in him if used right..

Clippers vs Pacers was really surprised about this due to bad run of pacers but they seem to be that team that is all over the show at the moment a loss to a really bad team then proceeds to beat a playoff team lol

Murray not surprised seems like a slight better shooting version of Reddick(at the same point of career) he should have honestly gone 6th not Hield,Sabonis not really surprise due to family(Father was a beast in his prime) and that he has played international mens basketball at olympic level..So he should have a good b-ball IQ.

Marquis chris is a bit streaky: Has D-favors type potential then other games doesn’t do so much..If developed right should be ok though.

Aaron Gordon is probably best going to somewhere like Milwaukee where he can play somewhat positionless with Giannis, Middleton and Jabari, or otherwise to Houston to play a Shawn Marion style 4. Orlando has problems. Vucevic isn’t happy, Hezonja should have been further along for his talent and everyone is going to low ball them trading bigs
