 I can do a nine draft. I think I’ve got another one at 10:30. I guess with a 20 team league we are talking about a 2 hour draft, so probably some overlap. I wonder if I can do two on the same computer at the same time? They are both ESPN which might make it a bit more difficult.  

Anyway, no way you can satisfy everyone in a 20 team league. But Sunday night is generally the safest bet one would think.

I’ve never done a 20 team draft before. The problem with most drafts that I have is we get through 15 rounds and I’m still seeing a ton of talent on the board that I’m ready to role with. Not everyone pans out, but I always have guys in mind that don’t get drafted that I know will produce good enough to be on a team. But with 20 teams and decent sized rosters, I don’t know what those last rounds are really going to look like. 

Also, I’ve never done double double and tripple double catagory. I assume tripple double category is generally just won by the team that gets one that week. Rondo’s about the only guy in the league who can count on getting a triple double at some point during the season. So it seems a random category, but it will be fun. When one of your guys gets one, then you pretty much know you just got a point.

Looking forward to it, any time on Sunday is fine with me so it doesn’t matter. I think 20 teams will make it pretty interesting, almost like doing a fantasy draft on NBA 2K.

 20 teams makes it very hard..  But IMO, that is fun.  You are depending on guys like AJ Price and Jason Smith to be big players on your team.  And a guy that can average 5 rebounds and 6 points is a huge asset to you.  It also make the big name players that much more important since you don’t usually have 2 stud players on your team.   Nobody is going to get Lebron and Love on the same team.  

When you have 20 players, I think the winner is a person that works really hard all year on making the right moves and really working the Waiver wire..  

I am very excited about it.

Another thing is the draft.  In a snake draft, it is a blessing and a curse to get the first pick.  Because then you get to pick KD or Lebron but on the bad side of it, you don’t pick again until 40th.  But, you also get the very next pick.  So if you don’t know what your doing, the first pick can ruin you.

 Brooklyn Tall Ball. I missed the first few rounds and got auto drafted Jefferson and Millsap, which is a little questionable. But I picked up drafting live with about the sixth pick and I really like the bench guys I’ve got. With a 20 team league you can see how deep you have to go once you start talking about being 200 picks into a draft. I mean how many leagues out there could Kosta Koufos actually be on. But apparently he is starting for Denver which is a fast paced squad. He might work out for me.

Overview:
I missed the draft unfortunately so this is the team that was randomized for me, which I’m mostly happy with except for the massive ammount of point guards and lack of big men. Fortunately Curry & Walker can slide to the two spot if necessary.

Updates/Pending:
I have a pending trade of Mike Conley for Carlos Boozer, they’re for the most part pretty equal as far as fantasy value, and I’m obviously in a major need of a big man because as it stands I have statistically the lowest rebounding in the league, and one of the lowest FG% due to all the guards & shooters I have. Yes I know Boozer is no beast on the boards, but considering I only have two guys that average 7 RPG and then a bunch of wings that have 2 RPG or less, even Boozer is an upgrade.

I also picked up Tyler Hansbrough from free agency since Curry is currently injured & to give me a big man even if he isn’t that great. However Curry is expected to be ready for his first real NBA game so I will more than likely be dropping Hansbrough or Shannon Brown when/if Curry gets cleared to play.
