valentineWhat if the NBA and the Euroleagues……sign a deal to have the NBDL go overseas and have the NBDL there and they create like a super league?
Not to sound disrespectful but alot of teams overseas are not that good. Some have decent NBA prospects there but bringing the NBDL over can allow Euro & developing prospects to grow and we can see them against american talents…
Thoughts? Ideas? I’m still thinking about it, so don’t be surprised if I fix it.

JNixonParticipantIf this happens, this is a big if scenario, I hope the passion the coaches and players have overseas rubs off on the DLeaguers. And actually makes the guys’ games develop. The DLeague system now is like organized pickup games for players not quite on an NBA level. They get called back up and still are just as raw as they were when they were assigned.

atchodasParticipantIf you transfer the NBDL teams to Europe, my firt Q would be, in which league would they participate? I mean, they wouldn’t play in the Euroleague, because they wouldn’t win a single game anyway, and to put those teams into some national championship would stupid, unless it’s the Italian league, where they have a lot of teams with like 8-10 american guys, and 3 or 4 italian players lol…

Anton123ParticipantThe NBA D-Leugue stars won against almost all the summer camp teams, Euroleague is not much better

atchodasParticipantYou must have got it all wrong, i’m from europe and i know that no Euroleague team plays in any summer camp. i’m not saying all of the Euroleague teams are that much better, but even if you make a team from the best D-leaguers, they would win 2-3 games in the euroleague at most. You cant even compare the organisation, coaching, taemwork, deffense of a D-League team and the above averege euro team. besides, they would be playing on the european rules.

quincey hodgesyeah im not sure you know much about euro leauge…most teams over there are much better then the best dleauge teams..some of them actually have beaten nba teams during the preseason..im not sure why you think they arent that good but anywho who plays/played pro ball will tell you that euro leauge is behind the nba and the dleauge is a distant third

quincey hodgesalso youre not allowed to have that many americans on the team (reference to the 8-10 american guys)..i thinks its now only 3-4 some have more if the americans have duel citizenship

FT33Participant…what about the language barrier when they go overseas. Communication is the key to success in basketball andif you don’t have that, then you are going to lose some games.
