JR Smith just needs to grow up…. And what’s with these professional athletes and DUI’s? Don’t they have friends who can drive them?

Athletes are just like everyone else in that they make bad decisions. I mean it makes me laugh how people think that money should automatically make people smarter and wiser. There are tons of people getting DUI’s. When i was in the military you had officers with high rank or high ranking chiefs with that issue but they are not high profile and they have enough money to avoid that and the military has this system set up to limit people but they still never learn.

that’s what you said……. first off athletes are role models for kids………secondly they lose money from the games they miss, andhurt their whole team………third off they are no longer immature teen’s they should know better………and lastly they are professional athletes that not only can drinking be bad for your health but can cause death n a crash and end their careers

drinking isn’t really bad for your health. drinking and driving is stupid, but too expect them not to drink at all is just dumb.

Let’s not forget that this incident happended in 2007. And that J.R. Smith and his best friend were thrown through the windshield of the SUV Smith was driving. His best friend died. Smith survived. He’s learned his lesson.

Dhamp….the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

JR’s suspension is from the reckless driving incident 2 years ago. He’s learned, its just a retroactive suspension. Read the article before you make judgments. And Smith would have started because he’s a better player.

Ok mister are you sure he’s learned?

On August 5, 2009 Smith closed his twitter account (jr_smith1) because he was accused of writing in a way that reflected the Bloods gang, specifically replacing his c’s with k’s

That comment just makes me laugh… he changed his c’s to k’s so it MUST be gang related… smh… Typing some kind of way and closing a twitter account does not a gangsta make.

Yea, dont you notice how he throws up those signs when he makes shots and does a nice dunk? It looked like he’s throwing up gang signs to me, and now everybody holds up the “3” with their fingers when they make 3’s. JR Smith started that. Im not surprised at all that they speculate he’s in a gang. Dont think Im hating or whatever, because JR Smith is actually my 2nd favorite player in the NBA.
