OhCanada-ParticipantIve been reinforcing positive thinking so pansies is as close to swearing as I will go, (btw thats really working out for me stop swearing kids youll feel better) but wow they really want to see the NBA reduced to a bunch of pansies.
Reggie Evans gets a $15000 fine for elbowing Davis in the head on this play.

Basketball anywhere outside of the NBA is celebrated as a physical sport. The NBA is slowly turning it into a fast finesse sport. Even then incidentle contact is bound to happen like this play. In 20 years an NBA regular season game will be as physical as an All Star game at this rate.

TRC1991ParticipantThat’s brutal. That has to hurt. But its totally inadvertent. It’s reggie evans. He’s not an offensive player. He’s bound to give someone a concussion on a drive to the basket.

Lotto StudParticipantI’m quite sure Evans will appeal the decision and more than likely will win.

CynthiaParticipantI wouldn’t be surprised if they fined him by profile since he’s been known to be a bruiser and occasionally dirty. I don’t think this was dirty at all, but since he’s a repeat offender they just figured "why not? let’s fine him!"

samosasParticipantWhat about the other day when the Pacers were playing the Heat and Stephenson glared at Wade and got his second technical? Basketball is following fooball’s lead: take away all celebration and gloating and fun. Hell, I wouldn’t be too surprised if they start handing out trophies for participation.

SpartanGloryParticipantI feel like, as long as someone isn’t putting there hands on you, and not maliciously trying to hurt you, no fouls should be called. Shooting fouls are a different story though, they should be anything that blatantly affects a shot. Charges should be taken out altogether, as they are the worst, most subjective call in any sport. This ain’t soccer!

joecheck88ParticipantI’ve been the biggest NBA supporter out there but with the flopping, whining and bs flagrant and techs, I’ve just about had it. I can’t defend basketball anymore. 10-15 years ago I could’ve argued about how physical the game was and honestly, some of it needed to be cleaned up and I’m thankful for games in the 100s and not the 60s but c’mon. I’m almost at the point where I’m done with it. The NBA is as stated 95% pansies. College is slow and watered down. Games are almost unwatchable there with the timeouts. Just ugh. I wish I could take over basketball as a sport and fix each level of competition.

TRC1991ParticipantOn a side note, Anthony Davis has had his ass kicked the last 2 years physically.
He’s been beaten, pummeled and bruised. He could stand to put on 15 lbs of pure un-adulturated strength
