Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI read on Realgm that the Nuggets are looking to do a potential 3 team trade with Carmelo involving the Knicks or Bulls- http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69219/20100922/3_way_trade_talks_for_melo/
I picked 3 teams: Denver, New York and Charlotte
Charlotte gets: Chanucey Billups, Bill Walker, Wilson Chandler, Renaldo Balkman and Chris Anderson
New York gets: Carmelo Anthony, Gerald Henderson, DeSagana Diop and Kenyon Martin
Denver gets: 2014 and 2016 1st round pick from New York, 2013 1st round pick from Charlotte, Danillo Gallinari, Ronny Turiaf, Nazr Mohammed, Gerald Wallace, Eddy Curry, Kelenna Azubkie and Roger Mason
Here’s my opinion
Denver: Gets 3 future 1st round picks, gets back Gerald Wallace who’s a solid player. Gallinari could be used as the explosive scoring 6th man and the rest could be expiring contracts. Eddy Curry could be used to move later near the trade deadline because he’s a high expiring contract.
Charlotte: You get a leader in Billups who could help some players who are maybe in need of a creator for them. Last season, Chandler averaged 15ppg and now, he’s next to Billups. He could repeat that feat. Birdman Anderson is a good pickup for a team who plays in the East with Orlando and Boston loaded with bigs
New York: You bite the Diop contract. He’s a bench player. You add Carmelo to the roster. Kenyon Martin is a exp contract as well. Gerald Henderson is at this point a athletic player who I like so I included.
With the Trade Machine down, I didn’t get to do the salary matchup but if it doesn’t then Raymond Felton goes to Denver as well. What do you think?

goneParticipant- Nobody gonna like it for the simple fact that Melo goes to NY and you just happen to be a NY fan
- Charlotte trades there best player for a pg with not many years left and a bunch of bums with the exception of Chandler
- Dont you love the new posting styles

sheltwon3ParticipantIt is too big to be real but it is not that terrible. Denver gets a makeover and Bobcats get some young talent and a reliable point guard to mentor thier young guys and be respectable in the East. Billups would almost make it a certainty that they make the playoffs this year and Chandler is cheaper but has a lot of Gerald Wallace skills. Stephen Jackson tends to play better around more vets like Billups and Anderson is a upgrade over anybody they have. Also Bobcats get rid of Diop’s Contract.
New York get’s Melo but at the cost of losing Galo and taking Diop’s contract. New York is the one that actually gets the worst of the deal because people act like Melo is not going to leave regardless of what Denver does. A player that everyone knows is going to leave regardless of how good he is does not always have top trade values especially if he can just not sign an extension to a team he does not want to be traded to.

llperezdont like it for charlotte. They are not in a position to be giving up future first round picks and im not sure going from wallace to billups is much of an upgrade. Wallace is younger and a real good defensive player for them.

esperanzafleet69ParticipantHAH… obviously somebody didnt see a single gerald wallace game last year.. gerald wallace is way more valuable to the bobcats than chauncy would be…
