The8thDeadlySinParticipant– What happened to Marreese Speights?? I thought this guy was a rotation player that was coming into his own.. Is he hurt and I just dont know it??
– OJ Mayo??? He is gonna come around soon isnt he?? I hope so, I just traded for him in fantasy league.. All I gave up was Q-Rich.. How was that for some robery if Mayo gets back on track??
– The whole NBA has the Flu or something.. These guys need to drink more orange juice!!
– I love the MVP race being so tight.. It seems like it could go to 15 different players..
– Blake Griffin… He comes with real action karate chop and kung fu grip!! ManBearGriffin!!!
– I love seeing that 2 guys that couldnt play in Miami last year are top 2 leading canidates for MIP.. (Beasley and Wright)
– T-Williams better get back on the floor and show what he is worth.. Guy is a baller..
– This is the first time in like 12 years that the Clippers are worth watching…

sheltwon3ParticipantIt will be interesting to see if OJ Mayo is traded. Philly is in disarray and they have a lot of young players that need to be moved also Iggy

apb540ParticipantTrying to make a brand name for yourself haha. I like the creativity. Great thoughts thou for real. And M16 is not playing because he has an IQ of -12 and plays no on ball defense or weakside defense (aka no defense what so ever) and he is not a very good rebounder for his size, strength, and athleticism. If anyone wants M16 via trade, hit up Rod Thorn (not Special Ed).
And shewlton, I like the idea.

NYK2010ParticipantWhat about the Clippers in 2005-06 when they almost made the WCF?
O.J. Mayo coming off the bench that doesn’t seem right.
The whole NBA having the flu, it def. seems like it.

Mr. 19134ParticipantSheltwon unfortunatley for Me, APB, and other Sixers fans you are wrong. The Sixers are playing great basketball of late, have won 5 straight at home, Spencer Hawes has finally shown up, Thad Young has scored 46 points in the last two games and has only missed 3 shots in that span, and Jodie Meeks has just exploded onto the scene and has stolen all of Turners minutes.
This is worse case scenario for Sixer fans. I knew this team had too much talent, and too good of a coach to tank the season. And it looks like to my dismay I was right. We need to lose as many games as possible to get another stud prospect on this roster and it’s now or never. I cannot watch mediocre with no hope for future success too much longer. Iggy must go. Doug Collins has some sort of Bromance going on with Iggy. Iggy shot 3-12 tonight while Turner only got 14 minutes. I cannot fathom how you draft somebody 2nd overall and use him as a role player off the bench. They need Turner to start playing well. And it’s not that he’s playing bad he is just not getting the chance to do what he’s best at. This is just a sad situation for Sixers fan. I hope this winning doesn’t continue. i got my eyes all set on Perry Jones, Sullinger, or Terrence Jones.
But bottom line, Iggy has to get traded. They can’t be seriously thinking about keeping him in town.
And they have to take the training wheels off of Turner. He is not a little kid. Let the dude go out their and play. Let him go shoot 1-14 every game. Nobody cares about that we just care that he gets the chance. He will never improve this way and it is hurting his confidence and overall potential. I am fuming right now lemme stop.

apb540ParticipantI hear ya man. We need to trade for Melo and NeNe haha

Mr. 19134ParticipantWe can dream can’t we?haha
But honestly at this point I would trade Iggy for Nene. I was want him gone. They need to hands the keys over to Turner. There is nothing Iggy does that Turner can’t do. Including brick jump shots.

PureshooterParticipantI think some of the teams that have been routinely abysmal, such as the Clippers and Wolves, are moving in the right direction, despite still having a bad record. They have young productive talent and are only a couple of players and maybe two years of additional experience away from really turning things around.

balla619ParticipantI agree with shooter.
Spencer Hawes he sucks, if he’s your center you won’t win many games.

sheltwon3ParticipantI said they are in dissarray and they are. they have talent just sitting around. Thad Young can bounce next year. If not for Meeks they would not have the wins they got. They have no idea how to use Turner who was the number 2 pick who actually looked pretty good when Iggy was hurt but can not play with him. Speights who played well last year is not getting minutes. Hawes has looked below average. They are not playing Kapono who is a great outside shooter but no defense and who is getting paid.

joecheck88Participanti would trade everybody on the sixers except jrue holiday, evan turner, thade young, and jodie meeks. and that a solid starting 1 2 and 3 with a legit sixth man. but i dont think the sixers need oj mayo. send oj to milwaukee for something.

joecheck88Participantclippers were my favorite team back then. it wasnt 12 years ago tho. more like 8 or 9. elton brand, darius miles, q rich, lamar odom. they were fun to watch!

sheltwon3ParticipantI never said Philly needed OJ Mayo. I guess i should have seperated my statements more.

Sonny RedParticipantSixers have been playing much better of late, and they’ve probably lost 4 or 5 games atleast this year in the last two possesions of the game. The Speights regression is do to his mental capabilities and a lack of consistent minutes, there are stretches of games where he barely sees the court. The two guys I’d love to get rid of on the Sixers Iggy and Brand. I can’t stand watching Iggy anymore after 6 years, he has never gotten any better at ball handling and shooting over the years. Even the shot he hit against the Celtics last night to give them the lead with 7 seconds left look crazy, he was lucky to hit it. He is not the type of player you want taking the last shot. Brand has played better this year, but he is still a black hole when he gets the ball, and by the time this team is ready to compete he is going to be long gone. The problem is I can’t see a team trading for Iggy or Brand because of their huge contracts. The only thing you can expect to get for guys like them is another teams scrub with a bad contract, sort of like the Dalembert/Hawes trade.
