MixtapeliveParticipantCheck out arguably the TOP Small Forward in the 2011 class 6’6" Adonis Thomas of Melrose High School out of Memphis, TN. Adonis posses a great set of skills, quickness, athleticism, and intelligence. Espn said "He is a match-up nightmare who is too strong and athletic for small forwards to guard and too skilled and quick for power forwards to handle."

mikeyvthedonParticipantDefinitely near the top of his class, generally seen as a top 10-15 player. I would say that this class has a lot of solid wings though, and I might rate Adonis 5th amongst them. I do not know what Quincy Miller and Anthony Davis will play in college, but both look likely to be SF prospects in the long run, especially Quincy. Mike Gilchrist seems to be the best natural wing in the class, and LeBryn Nash is kind of a similar man amongst boys, who might even play 4 in college. Nonetheless, when you are 6’6, you better have the ability to body up smaller guards and beat 4’s, because once you get to that next level, it becomes more and more difficult to do. If Adonis regularly gets the best of his peers at the top of his recruiting class, than by all means he can claim the top spot. Until than, I think their are more solid prospects at his position in the class of 2011.

MixtapeliveParticipantI think ESPN has got it right with ranking him at #2 (considering Quincy and Davis are PF’s).. LeBryan Nash has games where he can go off but he also has games where he’s just off.. Adonis is a consistent guy who has a very polished game especially in the post… LeBryan tends to settle for jumpers too much and sometimes when his team is losing he gets carried away trying to do too much to bring them back and ends up taking too many ill advised shots.
I think LeBryan has def got the potential to be better but as of now I would only put Mike Gilchrist above Adonis (like I said, considering quincy miller and Davis are PFs)
