Kentucky is now 21-7 after their second home loss of the season to Arkansas.  The Razorbacks won at Rupp for the first time since their national championship season of 1994.  Kentucky is a good basketball team, but far from elite.  It seems like forever ago that people were talking 40-0.  They even made 40-0 t-shirts.  I wonder where all of those went.  The 40-0 talk needs to end right here, this season, right now.  Wichita State is 30-0 now, but does anybody think they’re running the table and taking the NCAA title??  No.  No matter how much talent a team has there are too tough away games, conference games and variables, injuries suspensions for teams to run the table.  The last team to do it was Indiana in 1976.  I don’t see any team going 40-0 for a long long time.

Even if they happen to make a deep run in march and players boost their stock everyone except randle and james young need to come back another year. Especially the harrison twins unless they want to sit on the bench like marquis teagaue..

When people were saying 40-0, I thought they were all on drugs. They have 9 freshmen, recruiting class should never come into pre-season rankings and although they won’t admit it the AP polls and USA today polls did include it in theirs.

I thought they were overrated. Randle was the only true "stud" freshman they were getting, and their returning players weren’t very good.

I don’t really think the "they’ll be scary come tourney time" thing applies to them because they have gotten worse as the season has gone on. Who would really be that scared of that team? And unless they do surprise in March, that’ll be two straight years of disappointment, and their class for next year isn’t on the level of what Calipari has been bringing in so far. They better hope a lot of those guys come back to school and improve.

I agree. A huge part about success in the tourney is getting strong momentum in late February and early March, which Kentucky obviously doesn’t have. Not to mention they are a young inexperienced team that’s going to have to go through some REALLY good teams this year to win it all. They might make it to the second round, but I have a hard time believing they go farther than that.

are gonna give Calipari an aneurysm.  I am pretty sure he regrets every day recruiting these two.  They are the black hole of athleticism.

You know the other players think it, but now the offense runs through them and there is no choice.

I saw a game where Randle, Young, and even Cauley-Stein were ballin out when the two of them weren’t in the game….it was a different ball game, when you have some athletic guards.

Those guys just have no strength around the rim and their legs are like logs.  I thought at first maybe its Kentucky trying to implement a system, but the Harrison twins shoot way too much in the last quarter in that system….Young and Randle should be touching the ball on every possession.

Typical lazy team that dislikes each other and can’t wait to just move on to NBA $$.  I think they’re out of the tourney as soon as they meet a team that will play harder than them.

It’s a shame because Randle and WCS should dominate everybody.  I would go with that backup point guard, who is it, Jared Paulson?

Feed the bigs, get shots to the shooters, and get out of the way.

I hate guards that dominate the ball.
