That’s a whole lot for Boston to give up for just love. That Brooklyn pick could very well wind up being number one in a loaded draft.

I doubt this makes Cleveland better and can’t see them breaking up their core that just won a championship.

Knicks take this deal in a heartbeat.

     No way Cleveland accepts this.

Kevin Love is far more valuable than Melo right now.

I think Love for "BKN 1st +" is fair but again Cleveland does not want to lose a major piece while contending, Boston should keep Amir anyway and would rather trade one or multiple ‘reserve’ guys (stash&dashs, secound rounders, Rozier, etc..) with value.

Same trade with Cleveland keeping the BKN 1st though might be closer to fair value, but none would agree, plus Jennings throw away is not good.

Boston should keep the pick also.

no one wants any of these Knicks players except Porty and he’s not on the block.

if I was Boston I’d do Brooklyn’s pick for Kevin Love.

Love is shooting 37% and averaging surprisingly 20 and 10, but Love’s rebounds are empty.  If he rebounded like Tristan Thompson in the playoffs I’d agree.  His open 3 point looks are courtesy of Lebron James.

You have the potential if you are Boston of landing a world-class scorer in Markelle Fultz or defender in Josh Jackson, why would you give that up for a perimeter 3 point shooter who is a terrible defender and opportunist rebounder?

Sorry but I’ve never liked Love.  If Kyrie wasn’t hitting huge buckets Love’s game would remain exposed.

He is a good shooter but so is Channing Frye, Ersan Ilyasova may be a better defender and shoots 38% from 3 averaging 14 and 6, quite possible with Lebron he might average 20 and 10.

I ain’t giving up the #1 overall pick for Ersan Ilyasova or Kevin Love, let alone Jaylen Brown and Amir Johnson…Nuts.
