so we all know the dunk contest wasn’t good but I was surprise about the 3-point contest. Pierce wins it. I thought Gallo would or Curry but Pierce comes out with the victory. I do think Gallo is a better shooter with pressure and a hand in his face. Good For Pierce proving that he’s a good shooter.
Has always been a great shooter. He didn’t have to prove anything.
Actually people thought he was more of a go to the basketball scoring rather than a 3 point shooter and this win in the contest did prove to those who “believed” he wasn’t that much of an outside shooter.
Again, Pierce is an excellent 3 point shooter. The numbers dont lie. He just doesn’t settle for 3’s like a lot of players.
pierce has made quite a few clutch shots of his own
I have nothing significant to add to this thread. Its just that there is one phrase that bothered me. “numbers dont lie” IMO, that is true but it needs to be paired with “numbers dont tell the whole truth.” Sry. No offense to anyone, just had to throw that in there..
