NorrinRaddParticipantLineups vs a DMO series:
Stephen Curry, John Stockton, Kyrie Irving
Dwyand Wade, George Gervin, Gail Goodrich
Kawhi Leonard, Sam Jones
Larry Bird, Moses Malone
Nikola Jokic, Alonzo Mourning
Red AuerbachDMO’s team is great, however in a game of match ups in the pace and space era, I’ll take my team any day of the weak. It’s chosen to be transcendental. As much as Kareem is a problem for me, Nikola is a stretch Walton, so that is a new problem presented for Kareem in a game of chess on the court. DMO’s team has no answer for my small ball and 3 ball. Without giving up defense, DMO can’t shoot the ball from outside well. No defense Nash is a liability on that end. Wade and Oscar sort of cancel each other out. I like my wings better, as I would take Gervin over the twins. And the twins may clash too. But Kawhi is a nightmare for DMO to handle too. He can drive and dunk all day if his C is stretched. Misconception of my team is that it has no defense. Well if you check defensive stats and All-Defensive teams, my players are right there, including Bird who’s a better defensive version of Durant. I have a slightly better coach. I’ll have more open shots with all the ball movement in my lineups, giving an often potential 50/40/90 player an open look or a wing for a dunk. Moses Malone if need be is a kryptonite for Kareem as he proved to be in 1982. My team has more championship pedigree. The chemistry of this team would be ridonkulous, as they are play off each other types and not it needs to be me types.

ZouldiersParticipantLineup Vs CanadaBasketballIsRising
Starters: Magic Johnson, Ray Allen, Julius Erving, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Chris Bosh
Bench: Russell Westbrook, Mitch Richmond, Grant Hill, Carmelo Anthony, Patrick Ewing
Deep: Pete Maravich and Nate Thurmond
Coach: Gregg PoppovichBeating Prime MJ and Phil Jackson in a 7 game series is a tall order for sure but my team is capable of beating his team. Being fixated on the triangle will be their downfall as it makes them predictable and easy to stop on offense and Gregg will be able to game plan against that. Plus, the only one capable on his team in shutting down Magic is Pippen but that leaves Kidd chasing Allen around or stopping Dr.J and that’s not ideal for a 7 game series. MJ is the GOAT but he wouldn’t be there without the influence of Dr.J so again I like my chances there. Giannis at the 5 is a matchup nightmare for his bigs and it limits his lineup by forcing AD at the 5, which AD doesn’t like so that’s an issue. Bosh is also capable of guarding 4/5 and he can stretch the defense so again he presents a problem against his bigs. Ewing and Thurmond can slow down his bigs and Hill will cancel out Artest. Westbrook and Maravich would have a field day against Luka and Petrovic and unless Dumars guards one of them, that leaves Richmond open for 3. While Artest is busy against Hill, Melo can iso and score at will. His team won’t be able to stop our transition attack and his team will be on a track meet in a 7 game series with Magic, Dr.J and Giannis and Westbrook off the bench which gets them exhausted. If anyone can outcoach Phil, it’s Gregg Poppovich and honestly I like my chances against MJ especially when you have Magic and Dr.J

dmo21ParticipantLineup:
PG: Robertson, Nash
SG: Harden, Butler
SF: McGrady, Carter, Baylor
PF: Worthy, Nowitzki, Cowens
C: Abdul-Jabbar, EmbiidMain change to the starting lineup is to start Worthy over Dirk to put a bit more athleticism on Bird, who is really the only guy I am worried about. Could throw Jimmy or Baylor on him for more athleticism or even Cowens to rustle his feathers (pun intended). NorrinRadd’s starting lineup may look pretty decent, but there is no depth on the wings when it comes to shooting, size or athleticism. My plan would be to just run them into the floor, running and gunning with Oscar or Harden running the show at all times (going to play the size advantage with having everyone on the court being over 6’5 at all times, spot duty for Nash as a shooter). Once his starters are tired, that’s when my real advantage takes over as I just sub in more athletes and shooters. Every fast break starts with a rebound and all my big men average over 14 RPG, and once again it doesn’t hurt having everyone over 6’5 on the court. In a league dominated by athleticism and shooting, I easily have the advantage. NorrinRadd’s only option is to play small, I can play small too or go big.
Looking at career years for all the players on both teams, Team D-MO has the advantage in points, assists, rebounds, turnovers and 3 pointers made.
I also don’t see Jokic being an issue as I see him sitting on the bench in favor of Mourning or Malone after he’s out of breath and in foul trouble. Also, don’t be talking about 50/40/90 guys when I got 2 of them coming off the bench.
Good luck and good basketball!
