Last year there were quite a few prospects that we thought would get drafted that did not hear their names called……Sherron Collins, Scottie Reynolds, Mikhail Torrance, Denis Clemente. Which standout prospects do you see not hearing their names called come draft night.

No one is going to be surprised if Matt Howard or Kalin Lucas go undrafted.  They’re not even top 75 prospects.  It would be more surprising if they went in the second round.

Vernon Macklin would shock me, he could be a good value pick late 2nd round in my opinion.  I could see any of the guys from Illinois not getting drafted. Also with Darrell Summers and Issaih Thomas (despite all the hype right now around him)  Not saying they shouldn’t get drafted just saying it could happen. But I also thought grieves vasquez could have gone undrafted last year and he went 1st round.

Jeremy Hazell, not a big suprise he doesn’t get drafted this year but he seemed like a solid 2nd round pick last year but due to a gun shot and a poor senior year doesn’t look good.

E’twaun Moore and Jon Diebler might fall of the board too.

Usually forwards will get picked up over guards with the last few picks

Lester Hudson and Joe Crawford were the only two guards picked in the last 5 picks over the last 3 years.  That’s 2-15 over the past 3 drafts.

I’d bet Lucas, Dunn, Pullen, Deibler and Hansbrough all have to go the free agent route when making an NBA roster.

I agree with most of these names but… Chanlder Parsons, Andrew Goudelock, & E’twaun Moore will definitely get drafted.

Right now some players I don’t see getting drafted are David Lighty, Ravern Johnson, Ben Hansbrough, Justin Holiday, Willie Reed

    this is how it goes:

there is 25 first round locks in this draft:

Derrick Williams, Kyrie Irving, Enes Kanter, Brandon Knight, Alec Burks, Jan Vesely, Kemba Walker, Jonas Valanciunas, Jordan Hamilton, Donatas Motiejunas, Kawhi Leonard, Marcus Morris, Tristan Thompson, Markieff Morris, Jimmer Fredette, Bismack Biyombo, Tyler Honeycutt, Chris Singleton, Trey Thompkins, Klay Thompson, Tobias Harris, Lucas Nogueira, Darius Morris, Marshon Brooks, JaJuan Johnson.

10 late first early second prospects:

    19 second round locks:

I don’t see Kenneth Faried or Jeremy Tyler on your board. At the end of the day, Josh Selby is a top 25 pick lock. I think Trey Tompkins and  Darius Morris are first rounders, but they’re not locked in yet. Just be careful who you lock in. At the end of the day, all the scouts have to do is dig into your past a little too much and you end up being the next DuJuan Blair

I dont really see Ben Hansbrough as an NBA guy….juss my opinion. The guy can shoot the shit out of the ball but is he an undersized slow an unathletic 2….dont think so. I dont even think he could be somebodys 3rd point guard

@MJBrown, my bad i accidentally miss them, they meant to be first round locks.
and about me lock people in an uncareful way, you might be right, but that just me, i’m a risk taker.

I too saw Scottie Reynolds not getting drafted. I knew Sherron wouldn’t either. But this year I see some players going undrafted likewise.

Hey Mcoster, you have Gary Flowers ahead of Vernon Macklin. Dont get me wrong, i believe both will be drafted, but Gary Fowers is 25! Granted Macklin is not much younger, I think more teams are likely to pull the triger on Macklin, given all the potential and that he was heralded as the next KG.
