gregoden08ParticipantThe player ratings are terrible…Pathetic. Good game though.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantWOOOOOW ………Players Are Rated 2 Low

It has 2 be fake
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 4:59pm #216234
Michael.S.ParticipantLeBron and Wade a 96? Mayo and Gay 78? Durant 82? McGrady SEVENTYSEVEN? Gallinari 56? Howard 89?
Are they on crack?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:01pm #216237
QHaynes20I like that they did that. It makes the people who truly know how to play look good.
Last Year, Alot of teams had good players on the bench and often guys would get traded for no reason (Thad Young) in dynasty mode
Glad they did this…kinda like Madden 10 this year

McWinningParticipanthow can Batum have 59 defense? hes one of the better defenders in the league and hes only gonna get better because hes only 18 or 19.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:04pm #216241
QHaynes20……..who did he lock down last year?
He had a couple good defensive matchups….that’s it
If you want his numbers to go up- prove it in the season/dynasty mode
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:04pm #216242
tli232Ok… this game values the Star’s stats too much. There’s no way Blake Griffin should have +3 overall rating than Rasheed Wallace without ever playing a single game
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:05pm #216243
Michael.S.ParticipantAll I know, is that when i get this game im editing ALL the stars ratings ASAP, maybe even all the players. Probably edit some of the dunk packages, and jumpers also
LeBron’s shooting up to 99
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:06pm #216244
QHaynes20lol….
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:06pm #216245
Michael.S.ParticipantYUP tli I nticed that also, Mayo and Gay 78, Griffin 77?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:07pm #216246
McWinningParticipantdude he was the teams second best defender at the age of 19. he might not be one of the best defenders in the league but he has the ability to shot block (look what he did to Lebron and Wade and Gasol right in their faces) and hes a lock down defender i think hes really skinny and once h gains a little weight he could be all second team defense in a few years if not i think his defense could be a lot like Prince.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:08pm #216248
QHaynes20He’s not good yet….
Also, Yea that was a mistake Griffin over Wallace was crazy but overall I like the fact there is not alot of 80 overall players
0- Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:11pm #216252

gregoden08ParticipantBatum is a VERY good defender. That’s why he started. He actually did terrific all year long. I watched every Blazer game last year and I would say Batum is probably the 2nd or 3rd best defender with the most defensive potential next to Oden. Stats don’t say everything man.

Michael.S.ParticipantSteve DAMN Nash’s DAMN rating was a DAMN eighty………………..EIGHTY
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:11pm #216250
BasketballGuru24ParticipantLMFAOOO Mikenike
Madden 10 was Nothing like this…..they rated players 2 high. Bryan Urlacher 92 , Merrmian Injured Half the year 93 and other Notables
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:11pm #216251
McWinningParticipantdud he is good he should be in the 80 hes the only player on their team who can guard the Lebrons and Wades also hes one of the best small forward shotblockers in the league theres a reason why he started over Outlaw because of his amazing defense.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:14pm #216254
BasketballGuru24Participantyeaa Nash 80 was hella low
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:16pm #216258
QHaynes20But Bird is saying that his defense should be rated higher…i dont think it really makes a difference to me, he is a decent player and with the 2K10 lowering it’s ratings…it should be a big deal
Also, Madden did have some a little high but overall, it did a good job to give realistic ratings.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:17pm #216259
Michael.S.ParticipantHe doesn’t play much different now, then he did in his MVP seasons so, theyre basically saying he went from NBA’s elite to just an avg. player in a few years
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:18pm #216260
McWinningParticipantyeah but 69 is pretty bad it should at least be in the 70ies.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:18pm #216261

mikeyvthedonParticipantThey are fairly low, though I always wanted a game that had ratings slightly subject to a players ability as a whole. Their are players in the NBA who are just straight up better than others who usually do not get their just due with how close the ratings are. I usually, and this is quite nerdy, end up changing players ratings in categories to what I best see fit. This tends to work out well, as I always find ratings to be somewhat awful in most every game I have ever owned.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:21pm #216263

festar35ParticipantEric Gordon as 72 disappoints me. Should be at least 75 and Thornton deserves to be in the 70’s. Davis at 82 are you kidding me? Whats with Hansbrough being the 4th highest on the Pacers? Hibbert and Rush need to be higher as well.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:21pm #216264
McWinningParticipanthey also didnt show Fernandez at 68…. thats pretty bad.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:21pm #216265
QHaynes20exactly, also, Nash had a 80 but alot of other players went down as well….
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:22pm #216266
Michael.S.Participantwell mikeyv i do the same exact thing, i basically go through every players ratings and also jumpers, dunks , crossovers packages and take a couple DAYS adjusting everything, yes most ratings i think are terrible also
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:23pm #216267
McWinningParticipanti know Tucker might deserve to be in the 60 but i had to laugh because i remember playing nba live from his rookie season and they fucked up his score and put him at about 90 lol.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:46pm #216279

the_shamwow_guyParticipantIt allows dominate players to really dominate…
Also I think the stats are low Cause instead of the minium being 50 its 0 now not 100% sure though
But either Way My Created Vince from Shamwow Player will dominate0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 5:53pm #216280

sameolGParticipantIf you have X-box Live the ratings are gonna change so its no biggie
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 6:12pm #216293
doubledribblerParticipantI’m not too worried about the ratings as long as the game plays at least as well as last years. I think the ratings are more like what happened with those in Madden 10. It should help with realism and superstars are truly going to dominate like superstars. Meaning that I won’t be able to take some guy that is garbage and destroy teams with. I would say Yi was one of those guys in last years game for me. I mean if you want arcade style play NBA Live…09 was complete garbage.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 7:10pm #216318

thetruthParticipantim boosting up my boys ratings d-12 and jameer nelson. how dare they disrespect the best big man in the game. also i love 2k10 more than nba live but they kiss kobe ass this year because the lakers won the title . so they put him up to 97.im not saying thats bad . because he deserve to be that. but i know the lakers are gonna be so damn good on this game like last year. that you cant beat them.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 7:26pm #216320
McWinningParticipantyeah i agree is he really 10 points above Roy? i dont think so.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 8:35pm #216336
twotrill25ParticipantI know yall hate dirk on this forum
but really?? a 83
he is at least a 900 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 9:28pm #216338

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantWhen I started playing the 2k10 draft combine game, i noticed that the player’s rating go below 50 for the first time ever. I think they put the new ratings scale to take some of the “cheese” factors out of the game. They’ve also added new ratings such as consistency, ball security, off-hand dribbling and emotion. No more doing the super slow, ground-eating spin move 3 times in a row with guys who can’t dribble, you’re likely to lose the ball. They also have a description for each rating now.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 11:24pm #216345

BlazermannParticipantim staying with 2k9 yall
fnck 2k10 it looks bad
brandon roy should ba a 94 not 87 hes a allstar0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 3:55am #216354

MagikKnickParticipantthey changed the ratings, so everybody got spreaded out..dont get your panties in a bunch fellas
The game is gonna play the same…and young guys like Mayo, and Kevin Durant have a higher number in a stat called “potential” so they’ll improve as you go along…
However, im not saying 2k10 got it right on this one….Rondo is better than Peirce and Allen? Nahh
But they also got a few things right…i mean Jerome James deserves a 42 lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 4:34am #216360
McWinningParticipanti agree even if qhaynes doesnt overvalue Rondo (which i dont belie) they obviously do.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 5:09am #216375

IndianaBasketballParticipantSomething does seem a little suspect… Every rookie that came up didn’t have a photo lol. Rondo is rated better than Billups and Harris.
If these are true, then the only explanation is that they changed the rating system.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 6:42am #216425

R-Dot-13ParticipantRondo is not 5 points higher than KD .
KD at 82 is horrible .0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 7:03am #216442

KiD MaGiC973ParticipantJoe johnson is a 83 jr smith is a 72( thats lower than lawson) courney lee is a 68( lower than t will) Marvin williams is a 69
looks like they were smokin while making this0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 7:27am #216445
jeff416ParticipantI liked that they made the ratings lower. A 78 would be like a 85 on 2k9 so they just gave everyone a lower rating I dont like all the ratings esspeacily Rondos and KDs but overall I think there pretty good.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 7:33am #216446

R-Dot-13Participanti like how they decided to make them lower, they just made players better than others that shouldnt be..
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 10:33am #216471

BlazermannParticipantits okay have lower rating but star players should be star player im mad a lamarcus and roy rating and durants and lebrons at lest make him a 97 he was the mvp last year not kobe and wade needs 2 b a 99 after what he did last year
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 12:51pm #216478

Lemons4LifeParticipantWhen are they gonna make a player 99
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 12:55pm #216479
phillip mccookParticipantits a slap in the face to rate lebron and wade a 96 and then kobe a 97 2k better switch those stats up and quick
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 12:56pm #216480
McWinningParticipantKobe shouldnt be 97 though… hes not 15 better KD.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 1:06pm #216482

MagikKnickParticipantNobody should be a 99 truly….99 is like “the perfect player” and every player has his flaws…im actually glad that no one is a 99
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 1:13pm #216483

R-Dot-13Participanti agree ^
nobody should be a 99, but im stil confused at KD..
