Reading the article about the Chris Paul Basketball camp it mentions the 2024 draft is shaping up to be historically bad. To say this nearly 2 years out is a bold stayement as we’ve only really began to see the early mocks for it recently.

Next year has a lot of hype about Scoot and Wemby plus GC Jackson who was touted to go very high in 2024 has reclassified for next year’s draft too. But is 2024 really looking 2013 like at the top or even 2006 which was affected by the removal of HS Seniors entering and a number of top players also returned to college as they were on powerhouse teams then. 2013 of course had Giannis, Gobertdown the draft plus some decent starters too.

It’s bad. Too many 2023 high school 5 stars that aren’t productive enough.

The mocks are also all over the place too Xavier Booker is top of NBADraftRoom’s 2024 mock but is only 21st on this site’s mock. Likewise Aday Mara a 7ft 3ins Spainish prosect is 35th on this site’s mock but is 10th on drafrroom’s mock and would be seen as an interesting prospect given his size and skillset.

Way too early. Two years of basketball to be played. Theres good players in every draft. Mackenzie Mgbako is a name to keep an eye on as well.
