Is it me or is this recruiting class special ?? Especially if a guy like Deandre Ayton reclassifies. My God.

I feel like there are 7 surefire one and dones between Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, De’Aaron Fox, Dennis Smith Jr, Bam Adebayo, Malik Monk.

Then you could have next tier guys like Miles Bridges, Terrance Ferguson, Kobi Simmons, Markelle Futz, Josh Langford, Jonathon Isaac, Rawle Atkins, etc.

I just look at a lot of these guys in the recruiting class and project them as being big time NBA contributers.

What do you guys think? Who are some guys you really like in this class?

Theres a couple of guys who I like…

Thon Maker has bulked up and looks nothing like that skinny kid we remember. I still think hes the real deal.

Josh Jackson is so good its scary

Dejan Vaseljevic and William McDowell White are future pros from the land of vegemite.

Edrice Adebayo would be a mistake as a one and done at this point. Way to raw offensively. Could end up like Thomas Robinson if he does not develop his game properly.

I agree that this class seems to be better then most, but I don’t think you can expect all of these guys to be big time NBA contributors before they even play a college game. It might sound hard to believe but some of these guys might flame out of the NBA after a year or two in the league and others might be stuck at the end of the bench. I haven’t seen all of these guys play but Jayson Tatum is the one that I like the best.

2016 looks LOADED.. Best PG crop I can remember. I actually think 2017, 2018 and 2019 look loaded too, but thats for a different thread

De’Aaron Fox is the best lefty PG prospect since D’Angelo Russell, easily. I think he’s got the potential to go #1.. One of the best defensive PG’s you’ll see!!

Josh Jackson’s worst-case scenario is something like DeRozan IMO. When he gets to the NBA I wouldn’t be suprised if he made examples of some of the established SG’s immediately. Ultra-competitve and one of the best wing defenders I can remember in HS.

Rawle Alkins is a stud, he’s the best player from NYC in a long time.. An obvious lottery pick.

Justin Jackson(UNLV) and Andrew Jones(Texas) were my favorite 4 star prospects in this class, and Bruno Fernando(Uncommited) was my favorite 3star prospect. Jones is due for a bump up to 5-star status(he should be near the top-10!!) before the final updates, and Fernando is now at 4 and rising, apparently Duke contacted him the other day, Javin DeLaurier-Montgomery is also one of my favorite 4-star prospects and I think he’ll definetly make the NBA. Koby McEwen(Utah St.), the best canadian PG in this class is underrated. Abdul Ado is my favorite 3-star player now.

Wenyen Gabriel is going to be a one and done player IMO. He’ll add plenty of good weight before he steps on the court at UK. He’s very skilled and incredibly active, and will fill the stat sheet.

Frank Jackson will show extremely well at Duke, he’s capable of shooting great %’s from day 1, and he can get to the rack/line at will.

Lauri Markannen is a great stretch-4 prospect, I like him better than T.J. Leaf.

Malik Monk, Markelle Fultz, Bam Adebayo, Jonathan Isaac, Miles Bridges, Terrance Furgeson and Lonzo Ball all look like studs too, with lottery potential.

I think Michael Porter Jr., in the class behind this one, is going to be a superstar in the NBA. He has size, poise, skill, athleticism, and competitiveness. I think he’ll be a rare gem, a sure thing, much like Ben Simmons.

Love these PG’s.  Fox, Smith, Ntilikina, Ball, Simmons, Fultz. That’s one heck of a crop.  Personally I like Fox the best but Fultz has and intriguing skill set. All these guys have the swagger to be scorers in NCAA next year.

Yes this class is loaded. A lot of scouts say 2016 class is the deepest class since the 2007 class which obviously was outstanding. The 2016 class has kids with NBA potential all up and down it.
