As for ROY Dario Saric will probally win it but I would vite for Brogdon because its very difficult for rookies to thrive on competitive teams but Saric is the better player and has better stats so he should win.

Votes and predictions are two different things. I would vote:

MVP: Curry (IMO the MVP should almost always be the best player on the best team)

    DPOY: Gobert

    ROY: Brogdon

    MIP: Dewayne Dedmon

    6th: Iguodala

    Coach: D’Antoni

All NBA 1st: Curry, Harden, Leonard, James, Jordan

All NBA 2nd: Thomas, Westbrook, Green, Aldridge, Gobert

All NBA 3rd: Wall, Lowry, Durant, Antetokounmpo, M. Gasol

So if Paul George doesn’t make an all NBA team he’s more likely to leave in free agency because of money…?

Indy can give him more if he makes an all NBA team..? I hope he gets snubbed

    My choices:

MVP: Harden – Westbrook is a good choice too, and I suspect he’ll win, but in my personal opinion, Harden is significantly more efficient scoring, better passer, and almost equal rebounding the ball. I also think doing it on a kinda-contender is a factor; especially considering the pre-season expectations for these two respective teams (OKC was expected to be better than Houston).

DPOY: Draymond – Gobert is a strong contender as well. I just think Draymond is a bit more versatile.

MIP: Giannis – I think Giannis runs away with this.

6th Man: Iguodala – Tough call between him and Gordon. Gordon looked like a lock earlier in the season but he cooled off a bit while Iggy got it rolling.

ROY: Brogdon – Embiid was amazing this year, but 51 games missed is simply too many. Brogdon was more impactful than Dario, and statistically, Brogdon is superior based on basically all of the advanced metrics. Brogdon was good the whole year while Dario was pretty terrible until the last couple months.

COY: Popovich – D’Antoni will win, but the job Pop has done this year has been incredible to me.

1st team: Russ, Harden, LeBron, Kawhi, Unibrow

2nd team: John Wall, Steph Curry, Giannis, Kevin Durant, Rudy Gobert

In terms of what I actually think will happen, I think Westbrook wins MVP and D’Antoni wins COY, but the rest of the individual awards remain the same.

Only changes to All-NBA IMO is Isaiah instead of Wall and maybe Jimmy Butler instead of Durant if voters think Durant missed too many games.

     COY: Eric Spolstra

    DPOY: Rudy Gobert

    MIP: Greek Freak

    6th man: Gordon

ROY: Embiid (Embiid’s defensive stats were AHEAD of Gobert), he was Dominant at Both ends & if the voting was not changed he makes the All Star team & he Should have made the All Star team. Brogden STARTED fewer than 31 games & avg 4 ast on a team w/ TWO 20+ ppg scorers. Both Saric & 24 y/o Brogden improved After the All Star break when about 20+ teams are just going through the motiuons & looking at younger players & different line ups b/c other than the 8seed, we pretty much Know who is In the playoffs & who is Out & they’re all just jockeying for position. This is Not most value to a team, this is who was the Best Rookie. If it was KAT vs Embiid than YES games played should tip the scale. But YouTube the game Embiid played vs the Houston Rockets where he is breaking people down off the dribble at the 3point line & violently dunking against double coverages & Dominating on Defense. His full court sprint to catch James Harden from behind on a break away dunk to block Harden was Insane – Harden is looking around like WTF just happened. I don;t like the 31 games either, but I truly believe slimy gm Colangelo shut him down to tank & I can’t punish the player for that.

As far as MVP, I had Westbrook, Harden & Kawhi neck & neck & what Westbrook accomplished was Amazing but Harden was the Better player. Westbrook getting free rebounds after ever Defensive foul shot Really began to bother me. Klay Thompson scoring 60 pts in 29 Min Amazing me – Devin Booker scoring 70 was a Joke. I’m not caying Westbrooks stats are a joke, I’m just using the example that when you try to play these games a team can actually Diminish the accomplishment & would Westbrook’s season be Any less remarkable if he Avg 31, 10 & 9 but they were REAL rebounds??? James Harden running Mike D’Anotni’s system is like Steve Nash on Steroids….. Harden’s instincts are masterful & the Houston Rockets finishing 3rd in the West after Losing Dwight Howard is Amazing to me….

Losing NBA teams quit Very early in the season. Spolstra turning that Miami team around was Remarable. People forget for Bad Miami was. Miami looked like a LOCK to finish bottom 3 with the Nets & Lakers.

I picked the Greek for MIP b/c he avg 12 pts & 6 rebounds his first 3 years in the NBA, his improvement this year was Exponential & deserves acclaim.

I chose Gordon over Igudola b/c Houston has no where near the Talent Golden State does. I am Not diminishing Igudola’s value but that value is felt Most in the playoffs. In the reg season the Warriors are So good teams are so far behind the bench rarely matters. Gordon actually made the difference between winning & losing some nights for Houston & his presence made Harden that much more tough to guard. Igudola just did not have the same level of impact on the Warriors in the reg season.

I chose Gobert  for DPOY in a Razor thin margin over Kawhi b/c Gobert’s Dominance at Rim & in the paint allows the Every other Jazz player on the floor to be Much more aggressive defensively b/c they have No fear of their man beating them off the dribble. Kawhi is a Remarkable talent. I Luv everything about him & I don;t believe he gets NEARLY enough credit for a 60 win Spurs team that Lost Tim Duncan. But a Dominant Center impacts Every player on the floor on Both teams (It’s the same reason I Had to take Embiid for ROY – w/ Embiid in the game Phila was a Top 5 Defense – Think about that). Gobert set the tone for the Jazz & Defense is their Identity b/c of it.
