WhatHappensInPhillyStaysInPhilly✊ParticipantExcluding the incoming freshman, who are the players in college that are likely to crack the top 5?

burgessfourParticipantthe 2015 mock on this site. I hate to bring this up already, but can you imagine if the Sixers get the top pick and Okifor is a clear cut #1 player ? Would Hinkie take another big man or trade down for a king’s ransome ?

BallinmvpParticipantWell it’s definitely bigman heavy next year. Okafor, Alexander, Towns Jr could all go top 5 if they have strong seasons. Then you have mudiay and Caris Levert to round off my top 5. I think dark horses could be Kelly oubre, Myles turner, or Stanley Johnson.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantWell I can’t imagine them being much worse than they were last season, but I guess anything is possible haha, I kind of hope Philly plays fairly well and is able to pick up a guy like Wayne Selden or Stanley Johnson in the 6-10 range.

Jalil Okafor who will sit out the year with a massive hang-nail on his right toe!
sorry had to do it.

MattP31ParticipantSixers need a Stanley Johnson, Kelly Oubre, Wayne Selden, Justice Winslow to emerge on the wing. I like Mudiay too but he’s another guy similar to MCW. Rashad Vaughn of UNLV is a guy I’d like to see emerge as his scoring fits into the backcourt. At the same time I doubt Hinkie passes up a big man like Okafor if he is the clear cut top guy available.

burgessfourParticipantwhile pretty bad up to the trade deadline, they were epically bad once they traded Hawes and Turner. I can’t see them equaling last years 19 wins. The only team worse then them was Milwaukee, they added Parker and I would assume Larry Sanders will be healthy next year. I assume Vegas will expect the Sixers to be the worst team next year. They’re headed for another top 5 pick, easily.

hbomb3300ParticipantI think Selden would be a good fit next to MCW but if they have the first pick I have no doubt they would be able to trade down 2 or 3 spots and get a lot back. Also, if Turner or Porzingis improve a lot in the next year they would be great stretch 4s to compliment Noel or Embiid.

burgessfourParticipantThey got a future 1 and a second for moving from 10 to 12, can’t imagine what they would get to move from say 2 to 5 in 2015.

WhatHappensInPhillyStaysInPhilly✊ParticipantThat future first rounder is the sixers own pick they traded away in the now notorious Andrew Bynum trade. But Wayne Selden is the best prospect off the top of the head excluding the incoming freshman. I just hope the overall talent elevates as the year goes on

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantCan’t we please let the guys get on campus and see who gets hurt before talking about who the Sixers will redshirt in 2015-16.

NeggedNoelSaricJaylen brown is a 16 guy I like the 16 draft as well. thon, simmons, brown
but we have to wait and see who pans out who pops up and who fades.the thing about next years draft is i don’t think it is a strong draft and we have bigs. if they aren’t game changers at the top we trade down for a kings ransom since we have many bigs and can afford to pass on few picks for another selection later on in the lotto.
I think we have the worst record next season.
if okafor looks like a shaq,or howard ou take him. which i doubt but his work ethic is great and i hear hes a below average rebounder and not a shot blocker.
we have to pick a ready player next year not someone who has long term upside, a player with upside and able to contribute day 1 or get assets back. whatever position except point guard. yes embiid isn’t proven yet mcw is and noel will get a chance to show what he has.

trombonematrix43ParticipantWill probably take the best player available. So (I can’t believe this can happen now-a-days) the 76ers might have a log jam in the front court.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantMudiay is projected by a lot of different places to go in the top 3, so I imagine they would take him to make a defensive nightmare back court with MCW.

theballerwayParticipantRondae H-Jefferson from Arizona as a top 10 pick, C. Walker . I want to see what JP Tokoto comes with this year too.
The sixers might crack 20 wins when you consider the hopeful improvement of MCW and Wroten. Also Noel will at least give them some semblance of defensive presence at the rim. K.Daniels should get an opportunity also. Long shot but possible
