The 2015/16 NBA schedule should be released within the next couple weeks in mid August. I would like to hear your guys predicitons for major NBA days games like opening night and Christmas and your reasoning behind it.

Opening Night: 2 games end of October

      1st Game: Thunder at Cavaliers.

I think this game would be a great way to start off the season and be great from a ratings standpoint. The return of Kevin Durant and his stacked OKC team against Lebron the biggest star in the sport and the hopefully healthy Eastern Conference Champs.

    2nd Game: Spurs at Warriors.

Usually on opening night the Champs have their ring ceremony, the Warriors would get their rings and go up agaisnt the biggest threat to them this year in the West, the new look Spurs with Lamarcus Aldridge. Could also see Clippers here they have a rivalry.

    Christmas day: 5 games

    1st game: Lakers at Knicks

The two biggest markets get into the Christmas basketball games early with Kobe Bryant in his likely last game at Madison Square Garden. Their is star power Carmelo, Kobe and new young exciting rookie talent Russell, Porzingis. Both teams will have a challenge to make the playoffs but it should be a competitive game.

    2nd game: Spurs at Thunder

Two of the top teams in the league and will be battling at the top of the West this season. Star Power in Durant, Westbrook, Duncan. They have a bit of a rivalry in the past at the top of the west and would be a very competive exciting game.

    3rd Game: Warriors at Cavaliers

The big game of the day would be a rematch of the Finals and the highest rated Finals since 1998. Can a hopefully healthy Cavs team with Kyrie and Love beat the Warriors? lots of star power and exciting competitive game.

    4th Game: Bulls at Heat

This game has lots of star power Wade, Rose, Bosh, and would be a battle of likely two of the top teams in the East. Would be an exciting and competitive game.

5th Game: Clippers at Mavericks/ Rockets

Deandre Jordan going to play in Dallas against the Mavericks after he gave his word to sign and backed out. This would be a very interesting storyline but this could easily be a blowout by the Clippers so they may opt to have a rematch of the Clippers Rockets series where the Clippers lost and would be more competive game most likely.

    Thoughts? Your Predictions?

Two biggest markets, Kobe’s possible last game in Madison Square Garden is a pretty big storyline. Got Carmelo and young top pick rookies. From the NBA standpoint it would make some sense, big stars and storyline means high rating.
