    Here are the leaked Addidas All-Star Game jerseys.  While I don’t mind the logo, I can’t stand this whole sleeves on a basketball jersey trend.  I get that they’re trying to market these to kids that don’t want to wear the traditional tank top jerseys, but that doesn’t matter because these are straight up ugly.  They could work as a warmup shirt/jersey, just not the actual game jersey. 

    Does anyone actually like these?

    The reason they’re adding sleeves to the jerseys is because they want to make it league-wide as well as common so that they have more room to put logos on the jerseys when they start that ads/marketing scheme.

    First come the sleeves, then come the BurgerKing logos on the sleeves.

      Working off of that theory, I think it also makes sense because at the end of the day, it’s about what makes more money.  Fans are probably more likely to buy and wear a t-shirt than a tank top, so even though these are uglier, they’ll probably sell more with fans than the tank top style.  In a few years, every team will at least have an alternate jersey with sleeves if I had to guess.  It just makes sense from a marketing perspective.

        I think both reasons make sense. Ads might be placed soon on jerseys and also, as a fan I’d probably go for the sleeved shirt but man… those really looks ugly in-game.

    The idea of going back to the retro NBA short shorts is way better than this sleeved jerseys. Imagine Lebron wearing a short that has the same length as John Stockton’s shorts

     I am probably in the minority, but I kind of like the short sleeve idea. If 10 or 15 teams wear them 4 or 5 times in the regular season that is fine with me. These are gross. If the wests jersey does have purple then that is ugly. The east’s are terrible too. I hope it doesn’t become a tradition to have short sleeve jerseys in the all star game and the christmas day games. I like some of the retro jerseys of teams but they seem to only be pushing the tshirts now. You can make cool alternates that aren’t sleeved as well but the NBA doesn’t. The Thunder should have some kind of cool alternate but they only have that boring navy blue one.

    These are beyond awful. The increasing number of these ugly t-shirts being worn in games is ridiculous. But to have them as the official All-Star game jersey is extremely worrying. This is the marquee NBA event outside of the playoffs and they’re strutting these horrible, ugly, ludicrous Ts. It sends a bad message about where the NBA is heading.

    I hope against hope that Adam Silver doesn’t push these onto us full-time. I hate to think we’ll reach a point where "retro jerseys" are those without sleeves.

    I don’t get why the people in charge are trying so hard to ruin the best sports league in the world by making it uncool.
