HaleParticipantThe T-Wolves look like they will take a spot next year if everyone remains healthy.

draft2017ParticipantI know this is early but i was wondering, what teams will be in the 2013 nba playoffs. Which team that was in this year will be out and which lottery team will be in the playoffs? What will the standings look like?

Raef LaFrentzParticipantNot the Bobcats.

HaleParticipantWarriors could be really interesting with a healthy Curry and Bogut.

Toronto16ParticipantI think the Raptors will make it.

Raef LaFrentzParticipantWolves will definitely contend for a playoff spot anywhere from 5th to the 8th seed if they remain healthy like Y2G speculated.

draft2017Participanti think the warriors could possibly be there in the running for an 8th seed… if healthy

WolfRobParticipantWith a heathly Bogut & Curry, that team has a completely different look. I think Clay will make major progress in his second year as well.

omphalosParticipantRaptors really are a chance to make it, depending on who they pick up in the draft. If they could get MKG to help them improve defensively, Barnes, Beal or Lamb to proving outside shooting from the perimeter (at SF/SG/SG, respectively), Valanciunas manages to stay out of foul trouble and Bargnani/Bayless stay healthy then there is no reason this team couldn’t make the playoffs in the East as an 8 seed.
I know it’s a lot of ‘ifs’, but before Bargnani went down with injury this season he was defending better and the Raptors were winning games. Factor in the improvements DeRozan should make playing with the U.S. Select team, and a full off-season/training camp with Coach Casey, and you’ve got the makings of an 8/9 seed.

NbanflguyParticipantWay to early for this, but yeah the Twolves should contend for a spot next year

JoeWolf1The draft nor free agency has happened yet. It’s hard to say.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIt is the NBA. If there are three new teams who make the playoffs, it will be stunning. This year, the Jazz and Clippers were the only teams who got in after a year in the lottery.
The changes next year will be largely based off free agent moves and trades. Dwight Howard’s future will determine the fate of the Magic. Where do the big men (Howard, Lopez, Hibbert, Pau, Bynum, etc) end up. Where does Nash and Deron Williams land? If everyone stays still, there probably won’t be much if any change.

rwd5035ParticipantLove the forward thinking, but let’s wait until post free agency, and the draft before we start picking playoff teams.
I’m worried about the Wolves, especially since Rubio is coming off of the ACL injury. It usually takes some time to get back to your best as well, so he may not be up to speed until 2013-2014, or midway 2012-2013.
