Questions about this latest mock draft-

Why is Gilchrist so low? At the beggining of the season he was projected the first pick and now all the way down to the late lottery? I don’t get that, he is the best defensive player to come out of high school since who knows how long. I’ve seen him rip apart Austin River’s team and he has been starting on one of the best high school teams in the country since he was a freshman. I’m not angry but why the sudden decrease on his stock?

Terrence Ross is a nice player but why is everyone jumping on his bandwagon? He had a nice game agaisnt UNC that plays practically no D, and he only shot 35 from 3 the entire season. He’s nice but he aint no Brandon Roy.

I agree with the gilchrist comment, he is in my opinion behind rivers the best in that draft but he did have a quiet second half of the season at st. pats plus he got locked down in the state title game with only 7 points I believe. But in college I think he will have a great freshman season and go back to number 1

terence ross being predicted to go lotto this early surprised me a little. But he is a very good one on one player. He can hit tough shots off the dribble or get to the rim. He can shoot okay, but his intrigue is in that he has all the one on one tools and skills that you want out of a go to nba swing man simialar to nick young kinda. But its still very early and its kinda pointless to put too much thought into a draft thats about 15 months away cause right now so much of it is just potential.

Haven’t you learned. You’re projected high if you are a athletic beast while being tall. Skill doesn’t matter as much. Don’t worry though because that happens every year before or at the beginning of the season. As the season nears the end the skilled players climb up the board and the athletes that aren’t the best skill wise tend to slide down. You still have you’re "potential" guys who only played average but they tend to get weeded out after the draft and they start to not live up to the "potential" tag they were branded with.

In the end every one proves how good or bad they are once they get in the NBA.
