ilmagoParticipantI guess someone alrady asked this, but I suppose I lost the answer, so I am still gonna ask.
How is the 2012 draft order going to be determined if the lockout doesn’t let a season start at all? My understanding is that the new CBA might actually change the way the order is set and more teams could be part of the lottery. Am I wrong on this?
Actually…do you guys know if a draft even goes on without a new CBA?

mikeyvthedonParticipantQuestion #1. If you have further questions, I wrote more in the comment section. As this has never happened before, there is no guarantee, but I think that this would be a more likely scenario than just re-doing the draft:

Lotto StudParticipantI believe they will do a "Lotto" for all teams then snake-style picking order like the NHL did. Hope this helps.

That might work in the NHL with 7 rounds but in an NBA draft the snake-style would not at all help to distribute the talent evenly
