Why do you think that everyone who will be drafted to the NBA will put up All-Star numbers? First, you say Iman Shumpert will put up 15, 6 and 5 and Isaiah Thomas will put up 16 and 4. Now you think everyone drafted in the 2012 lottery will put up superstar numbers. Most of them won’t even put up those numbers in college. Lower your expectations.

So which one of them will not be all star because all of them will be all star to me. None of them is older then 20 and they have the potential to be great young players.

I think they’ll all be GOOD or GREAT players. I just don’t think ALL of them will be All-stars.

Austin Rivers, Anthony Davis, James McAdoo, Michael Gilchrist, Quincy Miller, Myck Kabongo, Bradley Beal, Marquis Teague, Tony Wroten Jr …  None of them has played a college game yet  and you’re there giving them future all-star status. Though it is reasonable to say that these guys have got the talent to be very good players, I am sure some of them will end up struggling.
The first, and maybe easiest, passage they will have to deal with is the one between HS and College Hoops. Many top-rated player have failed to do so. The latest example I can think of is Fab Melo. With a quick research, I also found players like Royce White, Dante Taylor, Mfon Udofia, Wally Judge, Ryan Kelly, Jelan Kendrick, Adreian Payne, Patric Young, Vander Blue, Keala King as the latest examples of 5 star HS players ending up struggling in college hoops.
Then there is the final, hard step in which so many have failed: take it to the Nba. There are so many busts (Thabeet, O’Bryant, B. Wright, …) that it would take too long to enumerate them all.

    Do you get my point?
