I May Be WrongParticipantbut we have seen many people since the draft was over make threads about Rookie of years, rookie averages, etc. etc. Still, that’s not a reason to give someone a neg because it is a solid topic and will keep some users busy IMO… soooo…
– Who will average the most points? = If Derrick Williams was guaranteed 34-37 minutes, then I can see him getting 18 ppg. But that is no given so my choice would come down to Kyrie or Kemba. I think both will be given a great amount of playing time and both are expected to score for their teams that NEED scorers. I’d give Kemba the nod just because he’s got that deadly step back and I see him getting 16 ppg
– Who will average the most assist? – Kyrie Irving – Probably around 6.5 assists a game. I think people forget but Bryon Scott gets a LOT from his PGs and Kyrie will thrive and set teammates up with Scott’s guidance
– Who will average the most rebound? – Again, IF Kanter was guaranteed 30-35 minutes, I could see him being the rookie leader in rebounds but he will be lucky to get 20 mins a game behind all those bigs in Utah. I think Vesley will be the leader in rebounds because his uptempo style may allow him to get put backs and he hustles a lot! Those two things should add up to 7 rebounds a game at least!
– Who will average the most blocks? Vesley = again, I’m very high on him and his athletic abilities will put him as a starter from day one. He may be the next AK-47 and if y’all remember, AK47 was getting 2 blocks a game easily. Im not saying he’ll get 2 but I expect 1.5 from Vesley
– Who will make the most impact defensively? Chris Singleton = I think when teams see him guard three’s AND fours and maybe even an occasional 2guard, then people will be like wow! he should have went higher. His defense will be contagious in Washington
– Who will struggle the most to make the transition from NCAA/Euro to NBA? – Kanter – I think his knees are going to cause some problems but also not plaing in so long has to make it harder for him. I expect him to start slow but i hope Utah doesn’t give up on him.
– Which lottery pick will struggle to get the most playing time? Klay Thompson – If Monta is still there, then there is no way he’ll get big minutes! Monta plays 40 mins a game.
– Which 2nd round pick will make the most rookie impact? Chandler Parsons – I really like his game and he’s going to shock some people I think. I know Budinger is there but I can see Parsons taking some minutes away and getting 18 solid minutes a game down the line and contributing
– Which non-lottery pick has the best chance to win Rookie Of the Year? Jordan Hamilton – should have been a lottery but if the Nuggets lose key players like Wilson Chandler JR Smith or others in free agency, then Hamilton may get minutes to shine.
– Give me your top 3 Rookie of the Year candidates in order: Kemba, Kyrie, Williams or Vesley (if Williams does not get big minutes)
– Best player in this class 5 years from now? Brandon Knight – I think his rookie season will be solild. Not great but solid but I thinnk down the line, he’ll be a great two player and surprise a lot of people
– Biggest bust in this class 5 years from now? Biyombo is too easy to list just cuz his offensive game is non-existent but I can honestly see Tobias Harris as a bust. Just my opinion though

Memphis MadnessParticipant– Who will average the most points? Derrick Williams
– Who will average the most assist? Ricky Rubio. for guys drafted this year Kyrie Irving
– Who will average the most rebound? Enes Kanter
– Who will average the most blocks? Bismack Biyombo
– Who will make the most impact defensively? Bismack Biyombo for his shot-blocking skills and intimation and solid size and strength. He should get minutes for the Bobcats. Runner up: Chris Singleton, but he might not get the minutes and may be more of team defender and on the ball defender who doesn’t really pile up the defensive stats (steals and blocks)
– Who will struggle the most to make the transition from NCAA/Euro to NBA? Kenneth Faried. He’s an undersized rebounder and energy guy who I think will struggle at first. Could end up being closer to Demarre Carroll or Renaldo Balkman than Dennis Rodman.
– Which lottery pick will struggle to get the most playing time? Marcus Morris
– Which 2nd round pick will make the most rookie impact? Shelvin Mack
– Which non-lottery pick has the best chance to win Rookie Of the Year? Marshon Brooks. 2nd place: Kawhi Leoard who was picked just outside the lottery at 15. I think he will help the Spurs even if his stats won’t reflect it.
– Give me your top 3 Rookie of the Year candidates in order: Derrick Williams, Enes Kanter, Kemba Walker
– Best player in this class 5 years from now? Derrick Williams
– Biggest bust in this class 5 years from now? Tristan Thompson. I think he was picked a little bit too high. He should be a good player but I don’t think he will be an all-star. There will be guys drafted after him that will have better careers.

– Which 2nd round pick will make the most rookie impact? Darius Morris or Jeremy Tyler
– Which non-lottery pick has the best chance to win Rookie Of the Year? Nikola Vucevic

iguapops420ParticipantMost points-Kemba(He’ll be playing a lot of two guard and scoring guard. Also doesn’t have as many people to compete with for minutes as Irving does) Brooks is a close second here due to empty points
Most assists-Rubioe( He’s got the entire franchise riding on his ability to rack up plenty of assists)
Most rebounds-Thompson(With the trade of JJ Hickson, it opens the starting spot at the 4 for Thompson)
Most blocks-Tristan Thompson
Most defensive impact-Iman Shumpert(not lot of defense in NY. This guy will bring some, enough said)
Most to likely struggle from NCAA-Nolan Smith(Not too athletic and not really a pg) Euro-Motiejunas(Probably wont sign but if so this softy will struggle)
Lottery Pick struggle for P.T.-Marcus Morris(simpy too many people ahead of him at the 3/4 Budinger,Williams,Patterson,Scola,Hill)
Most impact from 2nd round-Keith Benson(Shotblocking 5 needed beside of Horford decent backup minutes) Goudelock is a close second due to LAL’s lack of shooters need to play off of the Kobe,Pau,Bynum,Odom)
Not lottery pick most likely for R.O.Y.-Nikola Vucevic(If he starts the numbers will be there.Too big and skilled not to put the stats needed up)
Top 3 R.O.Y. Candidates-Kyrie Irving,Tristan Thompson,Kemba Walker
Best Player in 5 years-Enes Kanter(Future low post stud for Utah. 17-10) Williams is close second, just not sold he develops into the 3 he invisions himself as)
Biggest Bust in 5 years-Marcus Morris( I know it seems ridiculous, but I’m not sure he’s going to get a chance to porve otherswise, or that he’s really good enough at either position in the pros)

– Which lottery pick will struggle to get the most playing time? Biyombo will foul too much to play alot. Markieff Morris might not play much next year. Marcus could struggle with Houston’s PF logjam too.
– Which 2nd round pick will make the most rookie impact? Tyler Honeycutt seems to have a good chance. Him or Shelvin Mack due to the Wizards lack of a great backup PG.
