gregoden08ParticipantIs much more skilled than Frye. Frye had a better jumper in college and that’s it.

McWinningParticipantlooks good. but i think Aldrich is more a scorer and should be compared to Kaman

T-WOLF FANParticipantFrom what I’ve seen of Aldrich, he seems like a decent shot blocker also and would be a good pick up for the T-wolves if he stays where he’s at in the 2010 mock draft.

blackflash234ParticipantHow is Tyler Smith like a Josh Howard. Josh Howard doesn’t pass the much and Tyler Smith is like a playmaker when he needs to be.

JNixonParticipantJosh Howard with more passing ability…

JNixonParticipantFrye also had a better post game on offense, and he was a better (although nothing spectacular) as a rebounder.

gregoden08ParticipantYeah, good point. I think Monroe is a much more unique player than Frye. Wouldn’t you agree?

blackflash234ParticipantFrye doesn’t possess the passing and dribbling skills that Monroe possesses. Monroe is more of an Andray Blatche who doesn’t like to bang with the bigs and sees themselves as guards. Both also have great passing skills for bigs and both have the same mentality.

quincey hodgesi wouldnt say he was a better rebounder..since he averaged less rebounbds thengreg his freshman year and only .5 more then great during his sr year while playing a lil more mintues

JNixonParticipantYea, Monroe is a unique and skilled guy. Much more so than Frye, but thats the similarity I see more than anything else. Blatche has a much better perimeter game than Monroe amd is a much worse passer. If your similarity has to do with Monroe not liking to play down low alot (which isnt completel true anyway since he played about 90% of the time down low for Georgetown last year) and playing like a guard (to a lesser extent) than Frye is an accurate comparison.

quincey hodgesmonroe is a good down low player hes just not a banger..i think people get that confused..like amare and garnett are down low players but garnett isnt a banger hes more of a turn around jumper..dunk if hes close enough and useage of moves..thats how monroe is

JNixonParticipantExactly what I said…and Frye is the same way. Blatche is a mid-range player who sometimes extends to aout the 3 point line. He doesnt post nearly as much as those 2.
