There are so many good pf’s in next year’s draft. He should have come out last year. Especially being a year older than his age group.

patrick patterson for sure, could have easily been a top 20 if not 15 pick, willie warren and greg monroe were high up so unless they put up nice numbers they will also fall, reynolds was smart because last years pg class was sick and we would of fell far, vasquez might as well play all his years because he will other get cut or be a journey men after college

Umm, cousins and orton, coming in playing both as big men, wall coming in and taking all the attention from him, a serious injury? Them failing to win the championship and they pick apart his game, and this class is crazy frontloaded compared to last years class

You asked me what was their for him to lose and i answered, the injuries is really the only worst case scenario, and he probaly could turn out to be the best scorer but i dont see it around 20 pts with the teammates he has around him, all the other things i said are very possible and could easily happen, ur making it seem like they are gunna win the national title, orton is going to play poor and wall wont live up to the hype

You know this for a fact that their the best, they havent even played!!!, kansas and texas could easily win, also being the most talented team doesnt always mean you win, come on man be realistic

Everyteam has a chance of winning its such a broad statement, but yes they have a way better chance then most, im just saying that he was a late lottery pick this year and hes that or lower next he has nohing really to gain, unless he wins the championship, leads the team in scoring and reb with high stats

with both you.. patterson took a gamble by coming back. both scenarios are very likely in a way. he could have an amazing year leading his team to a national championship which is very realistic especially with the talent he has around him. but on the other hand that talent could easily be his downfall, because who knows, wall could be huge and really live up to his hype, what im saying is theres a chance he could be outshined by Kentucky’s newly added talent. i say this because patterson has never really held the role to lead a team. even since high school he playded behind oj mayo.

or he could just get injured..

but im rooting for him to have a good year, i just like him as a player. and its too early to predict the match up between kentucky and kansas but i def cant wait to see one, if there is one

Please don’t bring Kansas into any argument if you could only refer to 2 of their players. You are going to get clowned.

The Jayhawks have the depth and experience that will put them right up there with Kentucky. If Alrich has trouble with Patterson, they can throw both Morris twins, Thomas Robinson, or Jeff Whitey at him. KU has so much depth man, Collins isn’t a top 5 prospect like Wall, but he is stronger just as quick and has college experience. No doubt Kentucky has loads of talent, but KU is deeper, and has experience, I hear what you are saying, but you can’t say there is no way KU can handle Kentucky. Experience goes a long way in basketball, just take a look at the last 5 NBA Champions and 5 NCAA Champions, you see a high talent level in all of those teams, but the thing that stands out more is experience.

Collins and Aldrich are the only guys another eam should be scared of. The Morris twins have decent physical tools, but they’re both pretty raw (especially Markieff if I spelled it right) and Tyshawn Taylor honestly isnt a player you lose sleep over but he’s a good looking defender. I dont understand why he’s a projected 1st rounder though, nothing too special about him. And Morningstar is an unathletic shooter, and while slightly better athletically so is Reed.

I think Kentucky has the better chance, but your asking a Kstate fan lol. But seriously, Kentucky has more explosive weapons to me

It’s more about a great team thats been put together, played together and has talent and depth. Not, how many offensive match ups other teams are scared of. Reed and Morningstar are complimentary players, Reed a 3 point shooter and Morningstar emerged as a solid perimeter defender last year. First of all I would LOVE to see this matchup in the Final 4 next year, I think it would be a fantastic game. Kentucky has experience in Patterson, one of the best recruiting classes I’ve seen in years and a great Coach in Calipari. I just think KU’s depth and experience wins out. Watch out for Thomas Robinson for KU this year too, he is an elite rebounder and athlete blessed with strength and agility. I think he is either going to push the Morris twins to improve their games and if they don’t he’s gonna take their minutes.

I think KU has the better chance, but I am a KU fun, so I’ll admit my bias, but I’ve seen KU play 20 times per year for the last 10 so I know them pretty well, and I try not to be too biased, I’ve always like coah Cal and Patrick Patterson, as a player. I just hope it happens it will be a fun game to watch.
