2008 draft is the deepest since 03?

2008 and 1996 are my favorite draft classes… I’d be shocked if this year’s draft topped 2008.

I honestly haven’t been AS interested in the draft since 2008.

I think unless 2 or 3 or the point guards shock us this will be deep but not on par with 2008.

It’s a very solid draft class with a good amount of All-NBAers, starters, and solid role players, it might have the best depth of any draft in a long time, but as far as total talent goes, we have 10 All-Stars in the class of 1996, 4 future Hall of Famers, a guy like Kerry Kittles who could’ve been a 20 ppg scorer, plus Dampier, and D-Fish, plus you have the greatest three point shooting class ever with Peja, Ray, and Nash, you have MVPs in Kobe, AI, and Nash, and a defensive player of the year in Camby. That is all around depth right there.

No way this draft class has a top group comparable to Rose, Westbrook, Love, Hibbert, Gordon.

Not to mention many solid starters and key bench from 2008, like Gallinari, Ibaka, Brook Lopez, Mario Chalmers, DeAndre Jordan, JaVale McGee, Batum, Pekovic, Mayo, Beasley, Mbah a Moute, George Hill, Courtney Hill, Ryan Anderson, Jason Thompson, etc. It was just a really deep draft.

OK lol, I don’t really know any of these for sure, but most of them sure look right. By all means disagree.
