cavairo7ParticipantWhat an impressive class. I’m not saying that they were the most talented bunch but in terms of guys who made it into the NBA, this class was loaded. It had a superstar (Dwight Howard), all star players (Rajon Rondo and LaMarcus Aldridge), potential all stars (Al Jefferson, Rudy Gay, and Josh Smith), key starter (Arron Afflalo), spot starters/6th men (Marvin Williams, J.R. Smith, Corey Brewer, Glen Davis and Shaun Livingston), rotation guys (Sebastian Telfair, D.J. White, Daniel Gibson, and Jordan Farmar), and former league players (Robert Swift, Joe Crawford, Malik Harrison, Randolph Morris, DeMarcus Nelson and Darius Washington).
Only Mike Williams and Jawann McClellan were the two members to never to have made it into the league. Still, the fact that 22 players from a 24 man class made it to play into the NBA is impressive, considering that 9 of these guys are key members to their respective playoff teams (Howard too if he wasn’t injured).

Chilbert arenasParticipantMcClellan would have had a better chance of making it if he had left after his freshman year and their run to the elite 8. Great class though, wow…

ChewyParticipantTop 5 pick in the draft. Horrific knee injury. Worked his way back into the league and is even getting minutes again.

MalcolmxParticipantDid the other 2 guys ever get to play pro ball anywhere though? That is still an accomplishment if they did.

GanjahWeedParticipantWould you all say that Marvin Williams as a # 2 pick is bust worthy? Id say yes.

M-EazyParticipantNo Marvin Williams isn’t a bust. It was just a bad pick.. I always knew he wouldn’t be anything special. Never made sense then for ATL to skip both D. WIll & CP3 for him.

GanjahWeedParticipantOh, bad pick. I see, THats how you can justify any player who dosent produce?

atlienkevParticipantyes regardless of draft position Marvin Williams over Chris Paul/Deron Williams is bust-worthy.
i cringe whenever the Hawks draft players.
