PlatypusParticipantonly spot where i could see change would be the 2nd guard spot
D Wade will get some competition for that spot from; Chris Paul, D. Williams, and D Rose
Thats if they are all healthy

JoeWolf1I agree symbol, I think they’ll take a true point guard over Wade especially if Paul returns to his form a couple years ago and like you said Rose and D.Will are legit threats too.

JoeWolf1A healthy Yao has the potential to make the 1st team. Thats a big questionmark, though

PlatypusParticipantYao probably wont get looks because Houstin will most likely try to keep him healthy for the playoffs and not play as much

JoeWolf1true, Lopez is a 20/10 threat next year but the Nets are too bad for him to be a 1st teamer. Yao is when playing 30+ minutes, but I think you’re right, he probably wont. I was just trying to think of guys to challenge D. Howard. Kaman, Bogut, and Bynum are good, but they aren’t on that level yet in my opinion.

MelParticipantA healthy and motivated Chris Paul is top 5 material. He proved that. With Miami having two superstars, it may hurt Wade’s stat for that guard slot because if Paul averages 22ppg 11asts 4rbg 2stls again its going to be hard to negate him

hiphopismylifeParticipantYeah I agree Melo has a shot and dont forget that Lebron and Dwade’s stats will be down a bit. Even though they’re still the favorites it opens the door for a Chris Paul or Derron Williams to step in if they their teams do well enough.

hiphopismylifeParticipantIn fact Im still taking Melo over Durant. In 5 years that might be a different story but people need to cool off on Durant a little for his own sake. Melos proven himself as a great intenational player as well and is still more difficult to guard because of his strength. In a game earlier this year down the stretch Kobe got in Durant’s grill and just shut him down. I’ll take a hot Durant over a hot Melo but from game to game Durant can be very guardable when a physical defender gets a hold of him. But its when he gets hot, especially from the outside, that it becomes easy to forget and make a case for him as the best player.
