Washington Wizards.....

I may be wrong here, but to me this whole Anthony Davis trade is perfect for the Wizards to get involved in.

To me the odds on favourites are Lakers & Knicks. The Pelicans price for AD is apparently, 1 x All-Star, 1 x Young potential All-Star + 2 x Draft Picks. Now neither LA or NY have that All-Star on the roster but they do have the 3rd & 4th pick as well as other young talent to trade for Bradley Beal.

So I came up with 1 trade for each team to get it done:

Lakers get: AD give: 4th, Kuzma, Ball, Hart + 2 future 1st Rounders.

Pelicans get: Beal, Kuzma & 2 future 1st Rounders.

Wizards get: 4th, Ball & Hart.

Knicks get: AD give: 3rd, Robinson, DSJ, Knox + 2 future 1st rounders (likely Dallas')

Pelicans get: Beal, Robinson, Knox & 2 1st Rounders.

Wizards get: 3rd & DSJ.

Wizards need to rebuild and getting a top 5 pick as well as a young starting PG would go along way to the rebuild.

Pelicans get their All-Star in Bradley Beal.

Lakers/Knicks get their Superstar to pair with LBJ or Knicks hope used to recruit KD.

while I see the point, the

while I see the point, the Wiz get fleeced here big time twice. Why trade for Ball when you have Wall tied up for this terrible extension or getting another pg in DSjr who might be trash btw and adding a top 3 pick doesn’t really compensate ish for them?

I would also like to know how this should work salary wise or can the Pels just absorb Beals contact?

3rd, DSJ + Knox for Beal or

3rd, DSJ + Knox for Beal or 4th Ball + Ingram for Beal then? Would that even it up a bit?

Beal & Davis's contract are pretty much the same & if New Orleans let Stanley Johnson walk then they have more than enough cap for everyone. They have about $21mil free with AD still on the roster. If Randle opts out & they don't extend offer to Johnson they have about $35mil in cap-room (both likely)
