I think the best move for them would be to get another wing scorer. Especially one in the mold of Melo. I’m not saying Melo is better than Love or the other way around, but given Rose’s uncertantity, I think Melo is the perfect fir for that team. Especially if they can keep Gibson in the process. A lineup of Rose, Butler, Melo, Gibson and Noah is just scary assuming everybody is healthy.
The Bulls would have to include a lot of assets to get K Love, so the roster could look something like Rose, anon swingman, anon swingman, Love, Noah. I have to imagine the Wolves will want Butler, or Gibson, if not both.
If the Bulls were further off of contention I would say Love is the play, but they are reallll close when healthy, that team is tailormade for a scorer like Melo, its the best fit for both parties involved in my opinion.
I do like Love more than Melo as a player, but not for the Bulls.
Really you can’t go wrong with either of them if you’re Chicago, but what they would have to give up for Love I think tips the scales in the favor of Melo.
I still think Sending Boozer and one of their first rounders to a team with caproom is a real possibility. And I think they could find a team to take Dunleavy off of their hands no problem, they might be able to package him and Boozer together with one of their 1st rounders.
