Ok, I know this may be a little off topic, but I felt like it was a topic that we could have a bit of fun with .
If we could make a football team out of the players in the NBA what would it look like?

    QB: Allen Iverson
    RB: Ben Gordon
    FB: Paul Millsap
    WR: Lebron James
    WR: Matt Barnes
    WR: Andre Iguodala
    TE: Amare Stoudamire

    T: Al Jefferson
    G: Shaquille O’neal
    C: Kevin Love
    G: Kendrick Perkins
    T: Dejuan Blair

    DE: Nene
    DT: Glen Davis
    DT: Reggie Evans
    DE: Chris Andersen

    OLB: Ron Artest
    MLB: Craig Smith
    OLB: Matt Harpring

    CB: Nate Robinson
    CB: Mario Chalmers
    SS: Rajon Rondo
    FS: Derrick Rose

    K/P: Steve Nash

    KR: Devin Harris
    KR: TJ Ford

Haha, I just thought this might be a fun thing to do.. even if its a bit off topic.
    What do you think?

but no Olinemen ever has been taller than 6’8, so it would be mostly players with tractor traylor type builds that could be linemen in the league

That offensive line is beastly, but the linebackers are kinda weak tho lol. You need to find room for Reggie Evans and Craig Smith on defense! Derrick Rose would be a nickel back on defense lol.

Kevin Durant and Chris Bosh at DE LOL!!! Too skinny! & put Big Baby at DT.

    T-Leon Powe

At 6′ 3″ 222 lbs, I think Eric Gordon deserves a spot on the team. Probably at backup running back.

I’m not going to agree with everyone on the list, but overall it’s a nice list. I would pay to watch two teams of NBA guys playing all out. Your line might be a little too tall though, especially for Iverson to throw over. I see Shaq dominating though. No one is going to get past him. He’s too big and strong. I think the only guys that I would argue with you on are Carmelo, Evans and Craig Smith. Great job though. I’m going to try to compile a team if I get some time.

might make it to half time playing T. He would fake an injury on a 40 yard play so he wouldn’t have to run back to the line of scrimage.

Don’t leave Matt Barnes out on this one. He was one of the top wr’s in highschool and he has threatened on numerous occasions, both at UCLA and in the NBA, to leave basketball to go play in the NFL. Dude led the state of california in TD’s his senior year at Del Campo.

I’d put LBJ at QB, and AI at RB, with Dwade as another RB(I know LBJ played QB in highschool and was pretty good. So was AI at RB. Then I would put Durant at WR at LBJ’s spot. I wouldn’t even put Booze on the team, (although I loved your comment on him j232e, that is so true.) The rest of the positions are good. If we do this then I think we might be talking Superbowl, that’s if we get everyone to stop dribbling the ball or trying to Dunk on the field goal post(Maybe they can do that for touchdown celebrations, but that’s it) This would be a very interesting team to watch. How many games would be on National television?

iverson was actually a very good QB in highschool, not a RB. And I don’t like him as a RB because he weighs like 160 and would go down on first contact every time. LeBron might be a good QB as well, but with his physical gifts, I would want to see hm at WR or TE. And good job to adjose5 for bringing in Blair and Brockman into this discussion. Those guys are as tough as they come.

My question is special teams, onside kick, kicking team, who in the nba do you know is gonna go and get that ball?
