Lou Williams to lakers

 I think that’s a poor fit like you said.  You have Clarkson and Russell along with Kobe.  Then you have Swaggy P on the roster as well.  It doesn’t make much sense to have so many scoring guards.  None of those guards are defensive players either.  So why add Lou Williams when he’ll take minutes away from Clarkson and Russell?  They should have spent that money adding younger players to try find another piece or two for the future.

 I like the move.  Lakers need some energy off the bench and also Lou can start some because of the height of Russell and Clarkson.  I always had a feeling Nick would get traded so if they keep not sure what they are doing with this move.

It’s a good deal if they get rid of Nick Young.

Lou can flat out score so it is never a bad thing to add him to your roster…that being said the Lakers are probably going to be the worst defensive team in the league.

 When you say they are going to stink what are you saying they record will be because they won 22 games last year with Kobe hurt for most of the year and Nick Young Hurt for about half of the  year.  They added Hibbert, a former all star, Lou Williams, 6 man of the year, Brandon Bass, a veteran energy guy, and Russell, 2nd pick in a historically deep draft, Randle, who at one point could have gone number one last year.  

 Also Kobe should be healthy.  A shoulder injury is not something that just lingers like if his knees or legs were messed up.

Adding up all these things plus Portland is worse, Clippers are so so, Dallas is so so, Phoenix is so so.  The East only has 5 legit teams.  The teams that got significantly better could already beat the Lakers.  Also a healthy Kobe give you  a chance to win any game especially if he has help.

I don’t see how Lakers don’t win 40 games which is still not enough to make the playoffs in the West but enough for an 8 seed in the East and I think they have enough talent that if they were in the East they could make the playoffs.

At center I thought DeAndre Jordan would have been the best option.  If he didn’t go there, then Koufos would have been a solid option.  Now, I think they should look at a guy who fits in and won’t slow them down. 

Why not go after David Lee?  I might rather have him than Roy Hibbert.  Lee can score and board.  Not a rim protector but he won’t slow them down either…

Do a high octane first team of Clarkson, Russell, Kobe, Randle, and David Lee.  Lou Williams is the 6th man then go out and try to get Javale McGee on the cheap.  If not, go after Jerome Jordan or another cheap, relatively young athletic, shot blocking 7 footer.
