OKC in win mode, Cleveland looking for bench depth and New York is salary dumping. I feel bad for Jeremy Lamb though with Waiters and Morrow in OKC no more minutes for him

 Lamb has had multiple opportunities with the injuries the Thunder have had the last two years and hasn’t shown much, while their other young guys like Reggie, PJ III, Adams and Roberson have stepped into the rotation and taken advantage of their opportunities. Lamb, not so much.

 I think JR Smith is the worst player in this trade, and has the worst contract. The knicks have won by getting ANYTHING for him.

He’s a locker room distraction and an unreliable gunner on the court.

I still think that Lamb will be a good pro. Westbrook is very dominant, maybe a change of scene would do him good. He still has a good contract for the next few years so the Thunder could still keep him (I would).

Waiters can play a bit of PG. I think Reggie Jackson is "Fool’s Gold" – he thinks he is better than what he really is. He has already said he wants to play as a starter.

I would not be surprised if SVG hasn’t contacted the Thunder about Morrow. He loves his Orlando idea surrounding a big with lots of 3 point shooters and Morrow is a good 3 pt shooter.

Smith was never going to work in Phil Jackson’s system, and they got someone to take his contract. Iman Shumpert has been tagged as a good defensive player, but he has never consistently lived up to that billing. Considering that he is in between positions offensively, he needs to bring it nightly on the other end. It does not bother me that they gave him a look, seeing as how Phil history with bigger pseudo-points in the past, but cutting the cord is probably for the best.

They might rival Philadelphia for the worst record, but it is also an opportunity to see whether they have any keepers from their young players (Aldrich, Hardaway, Larkin, Early, Acy, and Wear) and likely run of D-Leaguers they give a look on 10-day contracts. I do not imagine that any of them would prevent them from looking long and wide in their draft and free agent targets, but they are only going to have 1 first rounder and a fixed number of cap money so two or three cheap young capable players would come in handy.
