Malik Newman is an extremely talented combo guard prospect who has the potential to develop into a very good NBA player. His potential to develop into an elite player in my opinion, will be determined by his ability to develop into a true combo guard who can play both the shooting guard and point guard positions equally well

I see his best case as being Monte Ellis with better point guard skills. Steph was a super special talent, prob not the best teammate at times but still a special talent. Newman is very good, but i don’t think he has Marbury talent.

  funny how you say combo guard and I cant think of an all star that’s a combo guard in the league today. He’s gonna have to decide if hes a 1 or 2

  Also have people ruled out the chance of him growing anymore because I read that his dad is 6’7". He and I are the same age and I’m still growing, though I’m about 3 to 4 inches shorter than him and his dad is a foot taller than mine.
