    I really like his game.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEkSK8rakrA

It is absolutely amazing that he only averaged 5 points per game on the Bucks in the 2012-2013 season and then gets shipped over to the Magic and averages 17 a game. Somehow this man averaged 11(!) minutes a game with the Bucks. This really makes me wonder how many other great players we have in this league that will never get an opportunity to shine.

And check out his gamelog: http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/6440/tobias-harris

He really had some outstanding stats toward to the end of the season. He averaged 20 a game in April. I think he is one of the few players in the league that can effectively play the SF and PF positions. Tobias is strong, athletic and has a great looking shot. He has shown flashes of great rebounding as well. The Magic have a strong looking team going into next season with Harris, Vucevic, Oladipo and Harkless.

I’ve loved Tobias Harris since high school he has shown that he could be this player I have always said depending on the program that you are in will determine the type of player you will become he now is in a situation where he has the green light in milwakee BJ and Ellis were ball dominant… I think with a quicker first step he could be dominant but he also has to share mins with Mo Harkless which could be a beast as well it’s still really early in their careers so Sky’s The Limit

He’s got great hands, timing, footwork, and nibble for being a thicker guy, but he did put up some empty stats for the worst team in the league at the end of the year. The Bucks didn’t know how to use him and the Magic got a steal in that deal, but I would still like to see an entire season of him getting significant minutes before I start going crazy of him.

    I agree, tons of potential.

I hate the “tweener” label that’s associated with him. As my man Jalen Rose would say… Tobias is a “Hybrid” because of his ability to beat his defender on the offensive end of the floor (too strong for SF’s and too quick for PF’s). Long term, I personally believe he’s more of a 4 since he’s likely to get stronger and hold his position better in the post on defense. He’s also shown good court vision, and can distribute the ball effectively in the half court set and transition.

I Strongly believe his career trajectory will line somewhere in between Josh Smith and Carmelo, with the upside to become an All Star reserve someday. The Magic fleeced him from the Bucks

Hey at least we ended up getting a couple protected second round picks for the guy lol, I promise, last time I mention that.
For the Magic I questioned where they were headed following the Howard fiasco, not getting much apparent value at the time of the trade, but in a sort of unconventional way they have some really nice pieces put together.
Tobias Harris has a pretty impressive frame, decent athleticism, definitely some potential there to play in the post along with his outside game.

Obviously Skiles wasn’t going to give him an opportunity to play, that’s the just the way he is. Then Skiles parted ways and Boylan still didn’t use him and Harris’s minutes actually went down inexplicably. Makes you wonder what the fuck Hammond is thinking, If he’s still here Is he going to get bored with Henson and Giannis in a year or two as well.. He did give up that quickly on a super raw 20 year old Harris, Good for Orlando recognizing talent.

It can be frustrating as a fan. I’ve come to the conclusion that there are a ton of talented young players that are being held back in the NBA.

If he develops a consistent 3 point shot and works on his ball-handling he will be a better Thaddeus Young…ive liked him since his freshman year and never understood why he fell in the draft, and then got traded for pretty much nothing….

Oladipo, Harkless, Harris, Nicholson, Lamb, Vucevic are some nice pieces but they need some shooting and interior defense…also if the Oladipo at PG experiment doesnt work, i think Marcus Smart would be a perfect fit (assuming they dont get Wiggins)…and then add some shooting specialist role players.

I didn’t really like him when he came through the draft and I didn’t think he would amount to much but now he’s doing this for my Magic I must admit he’s won me over and proven me wrong

The Bucks are idiots. They don’t play this guy at all even when he showed flashes of huge potential. Instead the play Luc Richad and Mike Dunleavy 30 mpg. Then they trade him for JJ Reddick and DONT PLAY JJ REDDICK. Then they lose Reddick for basically nothing they are idiots. This should be their lineup.

    PG – Jennings
    SG – Ellis
    SF – Tobias
    PF – Ersan/Henson
    C – Larry Sanders

They will probably replace Jennings and Ellis but they would still have a core of Tobias, Henson, Ersan, and Sanders to build around. They are one of the worst organizations in basketball. Don’t forget they paid Zaza Pachulia $15 million dollars.
