If there’s a sign and trade for him and Vazquez ends up in Sacramento that’s gonna be the perfect situation for him. He’s gonna be the distributor on a team where a lot of guys like to shoot. His defense is a concern, but it’s not like anyone on the Kings actually plays any. I hope that changes with the new staff though.

I assum e this means they’re going to move Gordon if they get him. I think you guys are off with your assessments. I am really curious to see if Sac match it. Surely they won’t since they got maclemore on a rookie contract and I,m thinking Thortons on a good !) mil a year. Tyreke will thrivee in a new environment. I like it. He can play SF. for them. He has a 6’11 wing span and a 8’8 reach which is the same or higher than MKG,Thad Young,, Gereld Green, Ronnie Brewer, Corey Brewer and Jeff Green to name a few

I agree the offer sheet of 11 million per year is a bit high for Evans, but honesty I like the directions the pelicans are going Evans is versatile player who can assume the point guard position, sg or small forward, and it was reported the Pelicans want Evans in a Ginobli kind of role. He is a pretty good defender and has excellent ball handling and excels in the open court. Signing him means they Eric Gordon is expandable, this way the Pelicans have more wiggle room. This team is really young and is full of talent they can fight for the 8th spot next year with teams such as Denver, Grizzlies, Lakers possibly dropping of a bit compared to last year.

The traded fro Jru Holiday and so they wanted to upgrade their PG position (although they have a very good one) and aren’t sold that Austin Rivers can play the position (boy was he bad last year).

Tyreke Evans’ pursuit also means they are probably going to look to move Eric Gordon as previously reported. This too means that they don’t feel like Austin Rivers can play the SG position.

The sad fact is that RFA’s get paid more than they should to leave the teams they are on… I think that most teams w cap space would welcome Evan’s at around 8m/yr… thats around what stuckey gets paid and imo Evans is a better version of Stuckey. So, the result of making a market offer to Evans is Sac can retain the player they drafted at his fair market price, or extract an asset from you to work a sign and trade.

Though he wasn’t handling the ball as much as other players, some metrics suggest that says he was Sacramento’s best player when he was on the court.
