Update: John wall, Reebok shoe deal.
Michael Lee posted (on twitter http://twitter.com/MrMichaelLee) a few hours ago that Wall will head to Boston to meet with Reebok reps on Friday about a possible shoe deal.
"I just heard that likely No. 1 overall pick John Wall is headed to Boston - to meet with reps from Reebok on Fri. about a possible shoe deal"
"From what I hear, Reebok is looking for a new franchise face with Allen Iverson retired. Wall could be the future - but he has options."
I never really liked Reebok, personally.
But as far as Wall and a shoe deal goes, hes likely going with the biggest endorsement, whos offering more, Nike or Reebok? Hell, if PayLess offered Wall a mega-endorsement im sure he'd choose them.
would be a bad move if he actually plans to sell shoes
REEBOK has been dead since iversons career died. John wall can get some sales and rebuild the company
Yeah but Nike and Jordan have taken over and Adidas is big now too. Reebok's biggest star is Yao so I say Nike with Bron
I'd just go with the company that gives me the most money, but if the amount of money is in close proximity then choose the bigger company IMO.
Adidas own Reebok so I think he should sign with Adidas instead since its a much bigger brand than Reebok. I miss the TMAC shoes.
I saw him in person this weekend wearing Nike shorts and shoes at a nike event....
why are all the sorry ass companies signing shoe deals with the best players? becuz of this money thats why. personally i think if ur one of the best players u should sign with jordan or nike becuz they sell the best looking shoes. I mean Wall is possibly signing with reebok, if im not wrong rose signed with adidas as well as dwight howard. please guys lets do better
I can't agree with you anymore than what you just said, IKNOBALL12. I would love to see myself in a pair of Wall's if they were Nike, they make the best signature shoes. That's just my opinion some of you may disagree but I don't care. Reeboks models are a waste of time & effort I think, everything they made after Iverson's first two pair the REEBOK QUESTION & REEBOK ANSWER, went down the drain as far as style goes.
Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade originally signed with Converse...
