EntropyParticipantMichael Lee posted (on twitter http://twitter.com/MrMichaelLee) a few hours ago that Wall will head to Boston to meet with Reebok reps on Friday about a possible shoe deal.
Quote:
“I just heard that likely No. 1 overall pick John Wall is headed to Boston – to meet with reps from Reebok on Fri. about a possible shoe deal”“From what I hear, Reebok is looking for a new franchise face with Allen Iverson retired. Wall could be the future – but he has options.”

MagikKnickParticipantI never really liked Reebok, personally.
But as far as Wall and a shoe deal goes, hes likely going with the biggest endorsement, whos offering more, Nike or Reebok? Hell, if PayLess offered Wall a mega-endorsement im sure he’d choose them.

Michael.S.Participantwould be a bad move if he actually plans to sell shoes

Charlie SheenParticipantYeah but Nike and Jordan have taken over and Adidas is big now too. Reebok’s biggest star is Yao so I say Nike with Bron

EntropyParticipantI’d just go with the company that gives me the most money, but if the amount of money is in close proximity then choose the bigger company IMO.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantAdidas own Reebok so I think he should sign with Adidas instead since its a much bigger brand than Reebok. I miss the TMAC shoes.

Lotto StudParticipantI can’t agree with you anymore than what you just said, IKNOBALL12. I would love to see myself in a pair of Wall’s if they were Nike, they make the best signature shoes. That’s just my opinion some of you may disagree but I don’t care. Reeboks models are a waste of time & effort I think, everything they made after Iverson’s first two pair the REEBOK QUESTION & REEBOK ANSWER, went down the drain as far as style goes.
