The West

I really don’t think the West is all that deep this year. All of the teams in the West seemed to be cutting payroll except for L.A. and San Antonio. Houston is worse, Denver probably stayed about the same, but losing Klieza and not getting anyone to replace him won’t help, Phoenix should be worse, etc. I did forget that Parker got hurt. Does anyone know what kind of injury it was? I think they will be fine with George Hill and whoever else is running the point until he returns to full strength.

As for Odom resigning. I am happy about it, because it means that Miami won’t be competing anytime soon and probably increases the likelihood that Wade is gone next year. I have my fingers crossed, hoping that he goes home to Chicago.
