JoeWolf1Good 7 footers are hard to find, and in 07′ when Philly drafted Jason Smith i thought they had a potentially good one, but after and ACL tear he missed all of last season, he is a strong guy with a good jumper and a pretty decent shot blocker despite being a limited athlete. His type of game never relied on athleticism so i still have hope he could still be an effective player after his injury.
Do you guys think he could come back and be a valuable big man in the league? or is he destined to be another big man with injury issues?

QHaynes20He can, but with that acl tear, I think he will be more of a Joe Smith type guy. good scorer off the bench

HaakaanParticipantI thought he was supposed to be a really good athlete. Didn’t he do well in all the combines for the athleticism charts? Hopefully he will be productive this coming year.

JoeWolf1I looked it up, i didn’t realize his vertical was that high, but, I was just saying he was pretty polished and didn’t rely on his athleticism, he could shoot, had some moves and his good strength shouldn’t be hindered by an ACL tear, which would bode well for a good recovery
