DinoRadjaParticipantI am new here so bare with me I was told about site from a friend. Go Dino!
My question is the Spurs worked out Favors. What type of deal can they swing to get him?

borlackParticipantI personally think if this were to happen (the spurs getting favours) it would have to involve either parker or jefferson and a third party and picks, but i cant really see NJ giving up their pick, favours and lopez look like a great tandem especially now with avery johnson running the show

Lunchpail12Participant…just because they don’t have many smaller contracts to balance a complicated trade. Most likely deal looks like Tony Parker, the No. 20 and probably another future No. 1 for Devin Harris, Keyon Dooling and the No. 3.
The Nets would no doubt love to see DeJuan Blair thrown into the deal instead of one of those draft picks, but I don’t see the Spurs trading him.

llperezhey whats up dino radja. You were a heck of a player. For the spurs to get a top 5 pick or more likely top 3 to land favors, they would have a hard time i think. None of the top 5 teams in the draft need a pg, so tony parker and geaorge hill wont be as enticing in a trade and those are probably their two biggest trade assests. Jeffersons expiring deal has some worth, but the only team with a top 5 pick over the tax line right now is philly and i dont see them dumping the number 2 pick just to get someone to take some of their bad contracts of their hands.
It would probably have to be a more comlicated trade involving multiple teams.
