so everyone thinks that having high draft picks means that your team will do better in the future.. So I was bored and decided to figure if this is true or not. So I added up all the draft pick numbers on every team and divided it by how many players were on the team. (Undrafted players would equal 61)

I know the real rankings dont mean much right now because it will definately change a lot.. But in the draft pick rankings you can see that lebron and d wade have the worst supporting cast. Also you can see how some teams have good gms who can find the gems in the second round. At the top you see the up and coming young teams.

So do any teams surprise you? Think they make sense? Give me some feed back.

so if a guy got picked 17th in the draft, that would equal 17, and if a guy got drafted at 53rd, that would equal 53, if he went undrafted, that would equal 61…

then i added those numbers all up for one team at a time.

after i got that number i divided it by how many players were on that certain team,

thus receiving the average draft pick for the players on that team..
